i get it, and some in reality dont like to leech, some because they are that way but most because they dont want to feel "commited" if u pay like the same way they wouldnt accept an expensive gift from somebody they dont care, its because they dont want to feel that commitment.

I actually said not to make a big deal out of it. It means that if you say that "I owe you from before. You paid for the drinks and stuff" And she is still insisting on not paying then dont make a big deal and dont pay. But MAKE SURE to let her know that you appriciated that she paid for the drinks earlier. And I think yeah its important cause she sounds like a nice person and she cares about these stuff obv. So making sure that she knows that you understand and thanking her is kind of common sense.

Not even having to pay Im saying. Just letting her that you realized that she paid and remind her that you've appriciated that.
