i really thought you should have considered raising the river at least after you take that line. His bet screams blocking bet. And since he gives you no credit he'd happily call another 28$ imo.

blocking bets are designed to fold, and every draw got there. plus, fish value bet with big hands like this a lot, and he can have a number of 2pair+ hands

don't really think there's much value in a raise against him, he's either guaranteed to fold all his worse hands, or he's only betting a range that is mostly better hands in the first place
