Hamby Makes Early Push

Straight from the off, we have an all-in, Patrick Stemper's preflop raise of 4,200 being followed by an all-in for over 30,000 from Jared Hamby the next seat down.

Stemper, still carrying his backpack on his shoulders as if guarding the crown jewels, glanced at his opponent's chips briefly, before eventually opting for the fold.

Robert Chorlian Elliminated

A shortstacked Robert Chorlian has been eliminated from today's event. We didn't catch the hand (just his dejected figure leaving the room), but it looked like Patrick Stemper was stacking chips in the aftermath.

Krouner & Stemper Still In

Ken Krouner has been located, and it wasn't hard, as he is one of the more sociable players in the room, chatting away to his fellow table mates and generally having a good time.

Whilst Krouner sits on 36,000, just a couple of seats down is Patrick Stemper, his stack bisected in half and now sitting at just 41,000.

Stemper Busts First

It looks as though the first in-the-money exit was the back-pack-weighted form of Patrick Stemper. His opponent raised with jacks, Stemper reraised all in with sevens, his opponent called, and there was no help from the board.

no news on Cole or Hinkle so far.

I believe Myth is at 95k and Hinkle at 135k. 79 left 1500/3000 blinds

Blair Rich Project

Blair Hinkle is going great guns, his stack prospering to the tune of 225,000.

A large chunk of this recent surge came courtesy of his encounter with Allan Myserson, Hinkle eliminating his foe with nines versus deuces.

*******
about 225k good for 4/48.

Andrew Gordon Eliminated

We might have to start calling him the Blairinator, as Blair Hinkle is eliminating players left, right, and center and is now sitting in third place with over 370,000 in chips.

The latest victim to receive a "Hasta la vista, baby," was Andrew Gordon, all in with A-3 against Blair's superior 8-8. The 6-6-Q-5-7 rainbow board was close but no cigar, and Gordon's gone with four tables remaining.

Chip Dumping imo.

Cole Eliminated

Blair Hinkle raises to 75,000, and Corwin Cole goes all in for 150,000 total. Hinkle calls, and they're on their proverbial backs,

Cole: {A-?} {J-?}
Hinkle: {A-?} {K-?}

Board: an uneventful {10-Spades} {Q-Clubs} {5-Spades} {8-Spades} {2-Hearts}
