seems a bit silly to focus a lot on the economy of D3 dont you think? the surplus of items and gold as the farming progresses will make the value of gold and items dramatically. Any item/gold in D3 is depreciating at a huge rate as we speak.
See hoolz, this is exactly what I'm getting at. They're creating inflation on their own by creating hundreds of thousands of different sick items that anyone can pick up while playing, and in doing this they are just praying ppl will bleed $$ to them so they can make up for 11 years (or whatever) of production. it's not about spending $30-$50 and whether or not you have it, but only about the principle about handing a company money when this should just be about the game and fun. leaves a bitter taste in my mouth when i think about it.
Is it wrong to voice my opinion that what I think they're doing is low? How the hell would allowing people to pay for staffs and daggers draw in more clients when anyone can load up hell/inferno mode and pick up a duplicate of that same $30 item within the first 10 seconds of joining a game. The game is about playing enough to finally get a sick cool item so you feel validated for grinding out long hours of setting zombies and skeletons on fire

That's definitely true hevad. I should've added that I don't think it's good what they're doing. I think they should cancel the whole real money AH and just leave it like the way it is. My point was merely that people in general, are very lazy. So if the option would exist for them to spend a few bucks to get those items they wanted, I'm sure a lot of them would go for it. But actually 'grinding' and finding those items yourself obviously gives you a much better sense of reward and accomplishment. I'm just afraid that once the real money AH comes out people don't consider that any more and drool for 5 minutes on that bow or sword they wanted and eventually still buy it. I do believe that the ingame gold AH is good, since a lot of items will not be for your character. The same feel of validation for your work I got from simply picking up items, selling them for a few 100K and then use that for better items for my monk.
I've never played WoW but didn't they have a similar real money system? Does anyone know how that turned out?

Huh?
Farming sites sell at 30-36eu/1mln which is roughly 40-45$ per million.

There is still one not nerfed resplended chest farming spot in the game that only few ppl know off, found by us (run takes around 25s). We dont farm it thou, we have a better way of making money, and way easier as well.
You dirty tease you.

you have a DH right? to make it really easy for you, find a monk and a barb(for offtank, stunning and taunting nagas) while the monk holds off the boss and gives everyone buffs.
i tried with a single dps first, it was too troublesome, 1 naga hit and they are dead. took him down on the first try after we got a monk

Which one is it? As afaik the act1 watch tower, act2 desolate sands, act 3 war machine and underbridge are still not nerfed and takes about 25sec each. It will probably be nerfed in a day anyways might as well not be a dick about it and share with the community so everyone else can get their shinies before it gets nerfed.

i agree with khan on the whole real money AH thing.. just makes it less fun when some people dont have to grind at all to get sick items.. makes u lose respect for the ppl that are totally decked out.. also gameplay isnt that crazy good/strategic so what is the PVP world gonna be all about?
Who can buy the best gear and click?

You can already buy gold to buy everything on the current ah, what really does it change?

my only complaint with the RMAH is how much blizzard is charging per transaction.. the value is ridic high and its bs by blizzard, very greedy
they should charge bare minimum to pay maintenance and maybe profit a little bit... but the way they are doing it now they are going to make so so so much

yea 15% + 1$, then another 15% to cash out, followed by a 3% paypal charge if you go that route, and you still legally have to pay tax on anything you cash out is fucking rip off

On a more serious note: been leveling a DH, since then I haven't been able to play my monk, because it's super boring.(monk needs to get vault)
Anyone care to share their build. Im still using bola shot with increased radius rune (lol), rapid fire with hatred reduced, smoke screen, the arrow rain from above and vault, so basically every low level thingy there is.
