"We recently issued a round of account suspensions and bans to several thousand Diablo® III players who were in violation of the Battle.net® Terms of Use for cheating and/or using botting or hacking programs while playing. In addition to undermining the spirit of fair play that’s essential to everyone’s enjoyment of the game, botting, hacking, and other such exploitive behavior can contribute to stability and performance issues with the Battle.net service. As always, maintaining a stable, safe, and fun online-gaming experience for legitimate players is a top priority for us, and we'll be continuing to keep watch on Battle.net and take action as needed"

Might be wrong, just my 2 cents. |
Weapon crafts are close to useless for two reasons: the market is looking for very specific specs such as high DPS, life on hit, socket etc, and also all crafts as of now are capped at ilvl 62, so you can't craft the highest tier stuff (you're probably not going to craft a 1k dps doomcaster).
But things like gloves I could see potential because there are a ton of different permutations that would sell well in the auction house. High gold find and pickup radius would sell well. High dex and MF would sell. Obviously your goal is to craft a godly glove with atk speed, crit chance/damage, primary stat, but even something with just 18% mf would probably get you to break even.
That being said I don't personally know if it's worth it, and if it is, it would make sense to go all out on it now before more people get a hold of the plans.

When I first got a hold of this recipe it was priced at 2mil in AH. It's now been a week and its now priced at 24mil.
I've made over 50mil in pure profit since then. 8)
If I used 90% of my time on D3 crafting, I'm sure I would've atleast made 200mil. |

Very low numbers of botters have been banned (probably less than 1/100th of people openly botting in bot/hack community forums are claiming to be banned), and it's very likely blizz hasn't been able to detect the bots/hacks themselves but are going off of activity logs, the primary bans have focused on people botting 24/7 on mass accounts, many using the same bots but only running them ~10hours a day have not been banned, and more than a few of those that were banned and have admitted to botting since day 1 where only time based bans (24-72hours) not perma. |

So the 6stat rare gloves are the only ones worth crafting? Or other types of armor as well. I've found a few plans but only with 4/5 stats. The other ones seem more expensive in AH but I only started with crafting in A3 inferno now. |

God I saw the plan for 999,999 the other night and was like "is that the one that normally goes for 12 mil (at the time)", checked again 5 minutes later...14mil. Super happy. |

With the price of crafting being so cheap compared to the market, I would assume every 6 property plan would be profitable to craft. Gloves are obviously the most profitable since its a slot where 6 rare property is the BiS for all class.
If youre thinking about making a big investment for the recipe, I would think twice before making a move. I highly doubt crafting gloves would be profitable as it was last week since a lot of ppl caught on. Glove market is starting to get flooded and I doubt I'm the only crafter responsible.

Apparently they are lowering the gold cost for crafting across the board. What do you think this will do to the price of the other components? I think it could have a two-times effect on commodity prices, where they rise not only because more and more people awaken to the current profitability of crafting, but the price may be further boosted by the increasing rate of people introduced to crafting due to the lowered gold cost (a cost which is intimidating to many people imo).
Is there a compendium of item affixes? It'd be neat to be able to compute the odds on various rolls..
(edit: oh look http://diablonut.incgamers.com/affixes )
Can 4 affix crafted gloves roll all of the same affixes as 6 affix gloves? |
