From what I'm reading elsewhere is you can still connect to any other server just the client is stuck in Russian language, but that is fixable with a little spoof program on log in


If someone is able to understand russian enough to buy these accounts or is tired of the game and looking to ditch their accounts, I have plenty of money on pokerstars, paypal and other various poker sites.

I haven't bought any IAS gear in preparation of the nerf, but what do you guys think will happen to the demand of IAS gear now? Up or down? It's still going to be the best way to increase DPS obv. I would LOVE to buy more IAS gear not so much for the DPS but for attack animation; my 2H is so srow T_T.

hardcore is tricky because no one sells anything on hc AH so everyone has a lot of gold just sitting around and less than 4% of the population has even tried hc. Best bet probably trade it in for d2jsp FG, then use the FG to buy SC gold of equal or greater value then sell that or buy items on the gold ah to flip on the rmah for profits.

I've been selling all my ias gear just in case but nothing is being substituted for it so I'm not entirely convinced it will plummet. Maybe a slight decrease to no change at all. Maybe the top tier of ias will even go up. D3 market is so retarded who knows what will happen.

Well its obvious that the HC gold will be worth more, there is a HUGE item drain (dying lol), and gold isnt as easy to farm for the same reason.

ias nerf really fucks over melee the most as they need good amounts of it to keep life on hit up, range will just stack more crit/crit dmg and be fine. Top tier ias isn't going anywhere, but the legendaries like andy's, beckon sail, lacuni, bojanglers ect will become next to worthless as IAS was the only thing making them viable. 6mod gloves with ias will still be the best simply because there isn't enough other mods to give that extra damage on them after mainstat/crit/critdmg.

basically its a compilation of videos displaying the way that blizzard turned the "action rpg" into a "gear based clicking game", by taking dodging out of the game in many ways (an observation: Demon Hunters are the only class with this mechanic somewhat preserved, via smoke screen).

its basically their way of trying to increase the use of the RMAH by the type of gamer who enjoys playing based on his wits, skill, tactics, and strategy, along with all of the more casual (nowadays "average" gamer who just likes to sit down and click buttons for a few minutes and is willing to pay for it (I have several real life friends who are just like this)

instead of succeeding at this goal of forcing what I will now refer to as the 'classic gamer' to use the RMAH, they have instead driven away the core of their fanbase IMO.

it is an analogous situation to Counter Strike (even up to 1.6 LOL) or other classic FPS (UT, Quake) and the new breed of FPS which are based on grinding achievements.
Business people have ripped the essence out of Blizzard's Diablo series. I'm not going to try and say it will doom their company; far from it. Profits will rise even as they drive away the classic gamer, a relatively small group compared to the modern day idea of gaming (think about how many people were playing videogames 8+ years ago vs today, the growth is certainly not because of greater access to games since the middle class has infact shrunk, but the greater "accessibility" of games, which often seems to come at the cost of the depth of a game's systems themselves.)

Nearly everyone on this forum, and certainly all of the players who came over from games like HoN or SC to D3 fit this idea of classic gamers and it turns out that, hey, my fucking friends list is empty when I sign on to D3.

as an example of that, here's a partial list of those here I count among that group, and who own d3 but hardly play it compared to their historical tendencies towards videogames with greater appeal to classic gamers

I know a lot of more casual/low skill players who quickly got tired of diablo 3 as well (even though they had fun while playing it). There is just no feeling in the game that, "If I improve. If I become a better player, I will have more success in this game" Which is a core drive of human beings in any pursuit IMO, at least until you drive it out of them by adequately teaching them not to expect that type of reward from gaming..

hailies and the spider one I know has been fixed for awhile now. Right now the 2 real popular spots are sarkon Act 1 Inferno 600k-700k gph(gold per hour) and arreat crater act 3 hell for 500k-600k gph.

wtf, I didn't make anywhere near 500k an hour in arreat crater act 3 hell (just went and tried it the other day for the lulz), my gf is 200% base and I'm a witch doctor. comments/insight as to why that may be? I was briefly elite hunting to 5 stacks before headed to the arreat crater waypoint and clearing to azmodan

also do u mean sarkoth (I think..) the treasure hoarder? it is a pretty nicely designed botting spot seeing as how the fuckin monsters don't even attack you lol..

both are fully bottable.

200% gf is a little low, also very dependent on your movement speed(25% is cap from gear), dps, gold pick up radius(sarkon is good with ~10pick up radius, crater needs ~40pick up radius) as it all means more runs in a short period of time, right now 5nv isn't worth the time to get them for the rewards it gives, you want your game runs to be about ~20-25sec for a sarkon run, ~1m30sec-2m for crater runs.
