k2o4 - if your issue is the unnecessary suffering of dogs/cats that are being skin then why sign such a retarded petition? Do you agree with all that's contain in that petitions message? Do you actually think an internet petition is going to influence the chinese government to do anything?

From the 1st comment to the last, they have all been attempts at taking this from a centralized post into a more general discussion about animals and abuse. Either way, topics like this can be dissected and broke into so many parts that it would be exhausting to talk about in a thread in detail. I'm surprised that anyone would concede or apologize in a thread here, I wasn't looking for that however I accept.

As for this failsage guy, why are you taking something that has already gone from simplistic comments to a discussion followed by a conclusion and creating massive tangents? I don't plan to go any further with this but perhaps someone else will entertain you. I'm not looking to fight egos and since I can tell you've misinterpreted the discussion I had with k2o4 it is obvious that my efforts would be futile

The weird argument people were making that bugged me is "Other countries than China also do the same thing. You didn't make any reference to those other countries in your post. Therefore your argument is disqualified and you're just trying to ruin china's reputation and you're a hypocrite."

To me it's just common decency that when you kill an animal you do it in a way that's as quick and painless as possible. And when you skin an animal, you make sure it's dead first. That's the point I'm trying to make.

I missed this one but I just wanna say that this thread is full of false assumptions used to attack me. I know plenty about the poverty over there, and I've seen that type of poverty first hand. I've lived in Nepal and India and worked with people who live on much less than $1 a day.

Again, you talk about selling meat. That's not the point of the video. It's the methods of killing the animals and the fact that they skin them alive.

You make the false assumption that I just watched a video and have no clue about poverty and then dismiss me, when you have no proof to back that up, it's just a guess.
