I dont think anyone cares, he made a mistake and thought it was allowed, and apparently it wasn't so he lost his winnings (as happened to the other mtt regs who got in trouble for this) and he'll get banned from stars for some period of time once they sort the details out.
This could have happened to anyone really who didn't realise it was banned, and was willing to gamble in a rebuy period |

your right i don't gain anything from this, and he wasn't trying to have a good time by flipping, he was trying to get an artificially boosted stack losing very little ev for after the rebuy period.

ah yes, very true. what he did was wrong but you make it sound much worse than it is. plus, he got his punishment so i don't even know why you would make a thread about it.
|
well i made it coz i was really shocked that stars actually punished Elky, and plus wanted to see how many people here realise what he did was wrong. |
Rofl, you were shocked he was punished? So in actuality you sent the email having doubt that anything would actually happen? Do you also picket big corporations with a group of people hoping to change their policies? If you're going to complain, at least have a semblance of appearing righteous.
It may be against the rules, but don't come in here with your altruistic holier-than-thou attitude and not expect to be verbally raped for it. |

but yea like mainly, my beef with this situation is, HE WAS IGNORANT, he was INTENTIONALLY increasing everyones chances at that table by taking the -EV side, and he has SO MUCH to lose, in a spot where no one has anything to gain. Seriously like, im suprised anyone even reported him, because frankly i would expect any person that isn't a douchebag goody two shoes, to make him understand that he is infact breaking the rules and he needs to stop OR ELSE he will be reported. Which is indeed much different than saying "AH HA! YOU JSUT BROKE THE RULES GG FAGGOT reported" |
