First game was excellent Toss micro but the Terran blew it, he could have killed the probes and bunkercommanded the toss, easy win.
Second game was great Zerg micro/macro and buildwise excellent by Bisu but he lacked timing/micro and inspiration.. I mean everything he's done was so standard and the Zerg was always a step ahead...
Third game was TheArtOfBoxer, the only reason I can put that in 03' is because Boxer has sloppy macro, but besides that his micro is still valid for 08'. I think his build would have been even more deadly if
he would have switched to M&M/ Tanks in the lategame but that wasn't necessary...

good game from the toss, but I couldn't help but facepalm at terrans persistence on chasing that 1 goon and losing 5+ rines in the process. Why not just split his rines and send 3 after the goon and rest to rape peons? or push a 2nd bunker to the nex and gg it...ah well

i can't believe more people aren't excited about the OP's game.
if you think that light had a lot of opportunities to take that game down, i would say that tempest had at least as many opportunities to pussy out and say "gg" while silently thinking "cheese. what the fuck. cheese. so gay." most players would have done exactly that, ten times over, or at least they would have let the frustration distract them and then lost the goon and the game. instead of caving, tempest was solid.
that game was badass and tempest was awesome.

it won't look much different from anyone else in the top 20. but it would probably be Bisu.
He's probably the best multistrike player in the game. Although seeing flash control 200 supply of infantry/sv/tank would be pretty bonkers.

i watched some jaedong/bisu vods from like 1-2 years ago? pretty impressive stuff. they make it look pretty easy. the speed itself isn't that impressive imo but the fact they can sustain that for an entire match w/ pretty much 100% accuracy and sharpness is ridiculous.

I can't link VODs yet but thought I should mention for those who didn't watch that the Jangbi vs baby series in today's Gom3 Ro64 was a pretty sweet PvT series that is highly recommended. They are available for premium members I guess (?) and will be made public in a few days for the rest of us.

is it just me or does sc2 seem like its gonna rebirth sc1? i feel a crazy itch to play sc1 and i'm just wondering if average sc1 users on bnet has increased at all.
Sure it's map dependent but seeing that unit in a zvp is totally new and allow new 'fun' strategies. Especially drop probe bombing (that zero tried but it failed).
We'll see some great games in this OSL. Very promising map.
However i dont see any use of it in zvt ?

It can be used in ZvT as mineral/depot bombers. But vs the army, probably not. You'd have to have swarms up on the path way, or have multiple ITs, and have swarms up on the units to be bombed. And most likely other lings and shit to draw fire from tanks and whatever.
So you'd end up blasting a pile of lings with the marines you get.
But marines stim and run so it'll be hard as hell. I can see them being used to bust bunkers mid game though with some kind of timing push that will fail if the infesteds don't do any damage.

I wonder why instead of trading an infested for 2 zeals he didnt load 2 ling a lurk and an infested and rape tosses mineral line with lings taking damage, infested taking probes and canon out so lurk can clean up, still GG its nice to see that units in use.

It all depends on what you want to see in SC. Universally, sick shit like unit stunts and novel strats are what everyone wants to see I guess.
I found Bisu vs Yellow extremely entertaining to watch, but like 90% of that was off the crowd. Slow ovie drop has been done so many times, if you watch the game without the knowledge of the commentary/history, it's going to be boring. Watch the english commentated games for an example, lol, they all try to make it seem more exciting than it is.

Bisu vs Iris MSL quarterfinals deciding game is easily one of the (if not the) best games of the year. Pure awesomeness from start to finish, no vods yet but I (or someone else maybe) will update as soon as they are up on youtube.

The way Kal manage to stall the push with only a few goons when he was clearly losing the game was great. Also his reaver micro throughout the game. Amazing

gg, jae played sick good nearly all game but flash just played better, jae didn't defend his expos early from those dropships and didnt reexpand fast enough after flash stopped some of them.. also those huge drops onto like 8 tanks and 15-20 m&m tilted me hard @ bottom right..

i don't know how good jaedong and flash are right now, but jangbi looks a little bit better than from when i stopped following osl/msl a few yrs ago. he might be able to get it done since I think flash has been losing lately?

Fantasy is probably the best bw player in 2012. Pretty sure the winner of flash/fantasy is the favorite.
I hope this series will be as good as their msl semis 1 or 2 years ago... that was incredibly tense and highskilled
He used gass on lurker, tripple upgrade, defilers instead. And Ultras probably not that good when Protoss got loads of Archons. Not sure how it would have looked if he went for them, don't think it would have gone good. Protoss already had shuttles, some reavers and could have gone more heavy on the reaver if Zerg wanted to go more Ultra/zergling. + probably harder to bust expands with that setup.
The critical point in the game I think was when zerg "zerged" the expansion at the right side, with huge losses. At least felt like that for me. (oh, and it kinda sealed the deal when he spotted all the lurkers being morphed, all bunched up, and got freekill on all of the units over there).
ultras wouldve won him that game for sure. zero just chokes in big games the past two years.

Very tilting to watch last 2 games as zerg. In final game I kept willing zero to go for drop harass, and run around with cracklings smashing expos. Its so hard to fight a P-ball head on.
