Parker it's short and sweet cause I was in a mtg at work when I saw it and threw the blog post up. But overall whenever I see something like this that I just wanna share I throw it into my blog. Notice, my BLOG, not a forum thread, and I can put whatever the fuck I want into my blog.

And I've kinda turned myself into a news source for a bunch of people who never go to CNN.com or turn on MSNBC. And I'm always happy to put the info out there.

But overall what the fuck else do I need to say? Title says it all! Obvious response is to celebrate a good action and the fact that he's DOING WHAT HE SAID HE WOULD DO, which is what all the skeptics always were after him for. I remember you type were preaching "He's just fancy words and soaring rhetoric but no action". It's nice watching him prove you guys wrong.

It's hardly even news. It has been known that he would pass this order for months now - but it really has nothing to do with my comment.

My point is that all it would take is a few more people linking every news article they find interesting in their blog and the blog summary on the LP page becomes completely unmanageable. It's just silly.

For the record, I don't disagree with the order. The idea of any government silently detaining and torturing whoever they want for as long as they want is quite scary. At the same time though I'll be more impressed when there is actually a concrete plan on exactly what we're going to do with these and future prisoners. Under what court will they be tried? etc.
