i dunno if bflme and 20 buck are even mass grinders anymore, they are playing 25/50+ a good amount of the time. The other 3 grind different things, nanonoko destroys 2/4 6 max, leatherass 5/10 6 max and kelistaan ALL FULL RING

phil hellmuth is genuinely a stupid person and he does not understand poker very well at all - [vital]myth

well the reason i included him as a mass grinder is seeing his graph on 2p2: http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/54/.../2008-graph-thread-372467/index4.html (username = Trivial)

over 1m hands seems like a lot for someone who's not a grinder

my measure of 'best' was the ones that would have the most unfavourable effect on my winrate if they were on my tables playing shorthanded or headsup with me

Hmm, judging by his graph I always thought 20 Buck Spin was one insanely sick monster...

In tough games.. BFL=20buck>LA>keli>nano

people really make way too many mistakes vs someone like keli or LA.. they are actually very easy to play, anyone losing alot to these players have some big problems adapting to the player imo, they are still very good though

I feel keli is really solid at smallball poker but I've seen him make quite a few mistakes in 3bet pots.
Also, I'm the best multitabling FR player. duh!

Hm, I never played with Kelisitaan ever, played with all the others but more than 8 months back.

For what I remember, 20 Buck Spin was definately the toughest to play against, but I always thought he was a bit too spewy. He prolly got alot better since then or maybe I got a false impression by running good against him longterm (i won quite a decent bit from him).

LeatherAss seemed always very solid, but like RaSZi said, really not too visible at the tables.

bfl4me I dunno, I always thought he had some kind of Fancy Play Syndrome. Definately annoying, but for what I remember he had a bit too many leaks. Prolly got better later, I dunno.

Nanonoko I was always impressed how he manages to play quite a normal (aka not huge nit) game at so many tables. Never thought of him as of a very tough opponent though.

there is a light at the end of the tunnel... (but sometimes the tunnel is long and deep as hell)

on the subject of mass grinding and vpps, what level of SNGS do u have to start playing @ for it to start really picking up and you to get supernova?

edit: after looking it looks to me like at very least u would need to play the 27$ sngs.. 2$ of rake each one, should get you like 10$ an hour rakeback.. i think

Its hard to make a easy buck legally, its impossible to make a easy buck morally.Last edit: 31/01/2009 20:56
