I decided to put sth in here. I was in very very similar situation. Around 9 months ago I really thought I `m not gonna really have to do anything for the rest of my life.
We had a nation wide company and everything. Then the tax people came , arrested some people , closed the firm and the trial is still there ( 9 months afterwards) I was left alone with 2 k bankroll and some rakeback on the way, all accs frozen and basically nothing except for rented flat. Today I`m playing nl200 with 30 k bankroll(mind that i spend at least another 20-30k living - i smoke ,drink a lot + attorney) so it`s good , and there`s no way in hell i`d make this kind of money ( especially where i live)
a) I really feel like i don`t wanna play anymore. I play because its easy money and i need them. Back when i REALLY needed the money I could play 12-14 hrs/day nl50. no problem
b) I tilt way more than before , but fighting this is my main priority now.
c) I don`t really think that nittying on up to 100nl is really bad - I mean why would I want to fuck around with 98s with someone who never ever folds top pair no kicker for 100 bb.

YEAH, I`d do the same thing if the situation came up again ( strictly theoretical - i want this shit to end , NOW)

edit : how would i do it. 1st I`d try to get at least 20 buy in for the level you wish to start at ( I`d say nl25 is the lowest you can really make normal money) and then there is no other option than grind grind grind till you drop. And again and again. Good plays and no tilt are guaranteed to make you money

good luck

lol, how about trying to play for like another 3 months for a lot, and see if you dont burn out regardless of results.

i wouldnt ever pick this up for a living, i just cannot see it as something else as a fun game
