True. I play fricking NL0.05 and I still neglect my girlfriend and studies and working out a lot.
Guess my motivation of playing poker instead of working in McDonald in a month when I run out of money is incomparable with you and your riches

Good Luck with your life, I reccomend you watch Rounders a couple times. It would be sad to neglect poker completely. Get a career or a life fill and come back for couple hours per week

I think a lot of people can identify what SakiSaki posted, but still keep on playing chasing some delusional dream.

Very well written and good luck with everything else. It's good to prioritize what's important in life and what is not.

quoted for fuckin truth man.

i don't think you should quit, more money will make life easier and you can always invest later and have the money work for you, just an idea.

hope you find happiness in other aspects of life

Nobody quits poker for good.

<3 sakisaki

you deserve a break and this sounds like by far the best move to take right now. I'm sure you will find a love for poker again in the future.

I like your perspective actually, you need that balance and if you dont' have it you start to hate poker. Thats why I spend time with my gf, go to school, workout with my bro, watch movies and tv shows with my bro, go out to restaurants once in a while, so my life is always busy and i have plenty of variety. If all I did was play poker that would suck in the long term.

If poker makes you feel bad there is 0 reason to play. You have enough money to live stress free for 10+ years. Find something that actually makes you happy.

Now I really am a busto. Thanks FTP.

because for mosty people poker isnt fun enymore and nobody wants to end up doing something that they hate just because it gives them more money (when they have money to live anyway)
