Okay so I have this eccentricity that I don't like pictures being taken of me. I punch anyone in the face that points a camera at me. Even if this person is really big, and subsequently breaks my nose. If the photographer is a girl, I might be lenient and just ignore her for the rest of my live instead of punching.
I allowed a girl I really liked and trusted to take a picture of my feet. This was, of course, incredibly naive, as this person took a picture of me in full using the zoom function. When I noticed, I asked her about it. She said "What? It's not such a bad picture. You look cute in it." I pointed out that it's not about taking the picture, it's about tricking me and that I feel like I have to be on my guard around her now. I said that if she wants to tease me by doing something to me that I hate, she should at least be honest about it. I say she should feel ashamed about tricking me. She says "Well but you would have forced me to delete it. I didn't want that." She does not feel guilty about it. She says I should just get over it.
I know it's stupid that I don't want pictures taken of me, and I probably SHOULD get over THAT. However, I really cannot hang out with someone and constantly feel like having to be on my guard. Especially not someone I like(d).
Is it okay of me to be pissed at the sneaky bitch, or should I let it go?

My problem with this isn't that there is now a picture of me in circulation. I hate that obviously, but I realize I should get over that.
My problem with this is that she is going to be tricking me into making her get what she wants whenever she feels that I am being unreasonable. When she feels I am being unreasonable, I prefer dialogue instead of tricking me. I'm gullible, I trusted her, tricking me is too easy. Inevitably I'm going to be uncomfortable with her now and on my guard, especially if this happens more often.
What irks me is that she didn't say something like "I'm sorry I couldn't resist taking a picture. You looked so cute posing like that. Sorry for lying about it." She acted more like it's completely natural for her to lie to me if she thinks I am being unreasonable. And I am the kind of person that gets *really* uncomfortable about that (also because I'm gullible and I get tricked easy). |

I have a friend who hates being photographed too. I don't get it,but I respect his wish. If you hate it so much then make it clear that you fucking hate it and if she doesn't respect that then tell her to fuck off. But don't ask rndm people to vote because they'll never be in your shoes and really understand why you hate the whole photo thing |

Yo thanks for the support lebowski but I don't understand why I hate being photographed either. I think I *should* get over it. I agree that I am a weird fuckin dude.
The point is not that she took a picture of me knowing that I fucking hate it, but that she tricked me to do it and lied to me about it. I get really uncomfortable about that, I don't want to have to be on my guard around people I like. |

I guess I can understand what you mean as far as her response, I guess if you like her and keep her around for a bit just look out for that kind of behavior when it comes to other things |

On your guard? She just thinks it isn't a big deal, which it isn't. She figured you wouldn't freak out like that like a bitch on PMS, she just wanted a picture of you what the hell. It's not like she's now gonna steal money from your wallet. |
