WSOP Update

Poker:

Pretty poopy start to my WSOP. I started off by bubbling the $40K event. I had a really good table draw on my first day and a pretty good one on my second day. There were some horrible table draws so I definitely got lucky.

I ran pretty poorly throughout the tournament and also made a big boo boo. On day one I had 5 nits to my left, to my direct left was Bruno Fatusi or something, a really nice french guy who is super tight.

But he's still french.

Mike Matusow had gotten to my table 2 to my right and being really loud about how Bruno is the sickest nit ever. Also, twice Bruno had squeezed in position very small with AA, hit an A on the flop, and slowplayed it the exact same way.

so I raise A5hh to 5k at 1k/2k on the button and he repops from the sb to 12k and we're like 250-280k effective or something, so I call. Flop is A67 with one heart, he bets 18k and I call. Turn is 2h and he bets 40k into ~75k pot and im like fuck he's never double barreling as a bluff and because he slowplayed AA last 2 times he very well could be just playing it straight up to mix it up

but i call and river is 2o and he bets 76k into ~150k pot

and im like fuck hes so tight but my instinct tells me to call and i was really close to and then all of a sudden i worked up the courage to fold just saying in my head that i need to not pay off psycho nits and fold

bleh i probably would have called here cuz if i thought about it more cuz he had never repopped cept for those Aces and I saw him flat KK once and never saw him repop AK or AQ and it was such a small repop that was begging for action

plus if he somehow had AK or AQ i couldnt see him ever having the balls to triple barrel for value

so he has like one hand combo that beats me, hes french, hes giving me sick odds, and mike matusow just called a french dude a nit a whole bunch of times

so he had TJo lol tilt BrunOWNED

other than that nothing that was really interesting. I busted out when the guy to my right shoved 9.5bbs on the CO, i iso'ed 23-25bb with A8, and whooookid woke up with QQ in bb covering me. the shover had K5dd

then flop comes Axx two diamonds so im like oh WuTtTtT so sweet on the bubble too bam Qo on turn sadface

then i played the $1k, $1500, and $2k today and busted all in the first level to standard bs. i skipped the $1500 6max cuz of a late night

Life:

My house is awesome. It's me myth pooruser peachy night2o1 and citzenwind (corwin's student). It's really nice, I have the master which is pretty sick. We have a pool table and huge tv and bunch of tv's throughout the rest of the house. We also have a big pool w/ waterfall thingy off the side with a hot tub, tennis court, and volleyball court, and giant chess set

I've been going out a lot with friends, have a huge urge to party but I think I got it out of my system which is good because for the next week or so there is an event every day and I don't want to miss any more.

I haven't been over to anyone elses house yet but definitely plan to. Need to go over to mez's house asap since its the bulk of LPers in vegas

house looks sick, deff pretty spendy but its normally worth it in the end.

Yeah I've missed a lot of events already. Only played one and I'm missing todays 2k and tomorrows 2500. I'm the sad.

the house is sick! when I went through several dreamhouses in vegas this was in the absolute top! you dont want another LP member in da house?
