I'm with you and everyone who thinks a universal healthcare option is the best one, and that we should get rid of the insurance companies.

I just don't think it's realistic for us to get that going right now - there's too much resistance. That's why I like Obama's approach - it gets us going in the right direction and I think that it will help. It won't solve the problem, cause like you said we need to get rid of all the insurance BS and get to a universal system, but if we take this step and it goes well I think we'll be in a position to push for true universal healthcare, because people will be more open to the idea.
