why are you hating on ryan so much?
he has put in a lot of work and tourneys fit him so much better than cash games. you cannot be happy for him at all?

i dont give a fuck about neilly, he is one of my more favorite people on this site and is incredibly interesting and i am most certainly happy for him? I just don't think he is a better poker player than me at all and we have a rivalry that stems from way back. |

im not being gay at all about that, it's not about making 100k, crownroyal has been making these kind of blogposts over and over again..... something is definitely wrong with him, whatever though he never listened to any of my advice, not like he's gonna start now |

I think you just need a better psychology when it comes to poker man. What you described in this blog w/ not dropping down properly is reaaaaaaaally way worse than you're making it sound man. I don't know the solution for you (if you can fix your head, should take an extended break from poker, should quit poker, goto school, etc) but its important that you understand what I'm saying so that you can move to the next stage.
I know for a couple of months during this summer I was living well out of my means (yes it was awesome and fun) but I never busto'd my life and always had a back-up plan of some type. I probably have it easier than you because my back up plan can always involve moving back home lol, but its important that you have one that works for your life situation (and if there's no good plan available, you need to trim down on the excess spending until you are better established in your life).
I like ya and I'm sure you'll pull through, whether its in a direction towards poker or not.

Sounds like you're having alot of tilt issues. I'm sure staying at the same limits when your br dropped wasn't good for those either.
I kinda do agree with fayth here though. You've been making posts like this for a long time and it seems like you're turning poker into a super stressful $15/hr job that isn't going to get you anywhere.
It'd be great if your plans were to move up limits and keep improving and get rich, but it looks like your goal is to grind nl100 as a job, cashing out meager winnings and living off that, while running random jobs when you don't want to play poker.
I know your plan isn't to be a nl100 grinder cashing out all your winnings, never moving up in 5 years. It really doesn't sound like poker should be a career for you. I just feel like you're giving yourself tons of unneeded stress by constantly trying to grind out enough to get by. Try and find a more permanent job and do poker on the side. |
