massive grow of online pokerz ?

Looking at the average traffic of Online poker sites poker has grown a bunch !

Pokerstars currently averages a traffic of 33K real money players
Full Tilt poker averages a traffic of 18K real money players

overall nowadays its quite freqent to see more than 200K users on Pokerstars or 120K users on FTP online.
1 year ago it was more like 130K / 50K ....

quite sick imo

but games are getting harder...variance...impossible regs at nl25...

Games actually seem like they've gotten softer since summer. Maybe its because of the seasons.

You dont need to think like this, nothing will good will ever come out of it. And I'm quite sure the regs at NL25 are not impossible to beat.

agreed about getting softer, but wonder if it has anything to do with people not being in the fear mode of "omg economy is collapsing, depression coming, save all money!" Things still aren't "good" but people aren't in panic mode anymore so maybe that's got something to do with the softer games.

Back to point, how does this affect the statement "games are getting harder to beat". I mean, if they've doubled the traffic it would seem like there is a alot more money in the game now, and not all players who start are going to make the games tougher.

quite a number of small sites lost good reputation, perhaps players left the shady sites and joined PS/FTP, traffic on UB used to be better than it is now on Cereus.(that could be scandal's fault, very interesting if the on other small sites grew)

Yes, there are really over 300,000 players online!

The number of players listed online is simply the number of players who are logged in. As such, the same person is not counted multiple times if they are playing on more than one table.

concrescence - this is interesting cuz I thought that PS counted players multiple times (and so the increasing numbers were nothing to celebrate about)

I'm one of the few lucky ones, I play on a euro site. There's no 25nl.

noticed that aswell at my nl25 games , low but really harder @ summer time compared to now

All the games are great with 25NL being the exception to the rule, nobody wins there, NOBODY

i'm going to say based on speculation that it is because of the unemployment rate. It doesn't take much money to start, and people think they can make millions. Fish are everywhere and games should be softer. I don't see this helping the economy though.

actually, NL25 is the only limit im in the red PT3 , i skipped it by winning a donkament, scary

HOWEVER NL10 IS JUST CURSED. simply skipped it because I can't beat it.

I do actually think that there is a HUGE reverse step between nl50 and nl25.
But for sure its also profitable on the euro sites coz the % of fish among their new nmembers is incredibly high even more on partouche gaming (French room)

I agree! I skipped nl10 by playing sngs, the regs at nl10 are just impossible.

i just skipped 10nl coz i was too baller to play cheeseburger stakes, and just went straight to the infamous reg battles at 25nl.
