just deny everything. internet is full of stolen pics, made up convos and really sick people/scamming fucks. id be worried more if they had access to my bank acc etc

they can't trace my cell phone to my house? euless = 15 minute drive to my house =/

i'm not there and i'm the only one who knows how to use my items of self defense.

what are you worried about? your pics/cel number or people in your house finding out? anything that doesnt involve them getting huge sums of money or pure hatred for you

im not gonna say its not something you just totally laugh about tho coz i know its not easy giving out private info then realizing its a scam of some sort

somehow tracing my phone number/e-mail to my house and since i berated them, like hurting my family or something. I've probably watched too many movies. No lie, i'm ignorant when it comes to the internet, scammers, what can be traced, etc. And i do have a fear of something happening to my family while i'm not there. I'm probably over-reacting, or am i? thats what i want answered. Sorry for worrying whamm - but i'm just really concerned.

i think 1st rule of internet scammers when they piss off would-be victims is stay away from them as much as possible. they're probably 10x more worried than you that you might be taking action e.g calling cops, tracing etc. i would be a little concerned but if your family is aware that there is a possibility of danger at least and can prepare for it i think that's enough precaution. just make up a story about the whole thing and deny everything lol. but you have to inform them at least.

So what you're saying is you decided to be antagonistic towards someone who does sketchy shit over the internet. That was probably stupid. It's best to avoid making enemies unless it has to be done. That being said people who scam just want to scam. Unless you're receiving actual threats you have nothing to worry about. You should also remember that there is literally nothing you can do if someone is willing to throw away their life to cause you damage. It's an unfortunate fact but the point is you can't live your life worrying about it. I also doubt those "up 1000%" stats are legitimate or they are based on such a small local area that variance alone explains the changes. Generally crime has been going down for quite a long time now in both Canada and the USA. Since the early 90's it's been in decline - at least in terms of the major stats.

iam working for a vodafone and i can tell you. Not even the police is allowed to ask for a phone trace for this minor issue. Only if they think there is some suicide or terrorism! so youll be fine.
she could "trace" your ip via the email traffic, but whatever. ips are so innaccurate in location that ull be fine!
