fwiw i checked that ptr yesterday and he had only ~50k hands on 2/4 right? [ ] samplesize

i dont wanna sound like a dbag but the fact that one of hundred (?) students went on 50k hands heater isnt neccesarily a proof

yea all the examples of success I gave have over 1mil hands of higher than 2ptbb winrate..

It is quite obvious now that Myth has changed his description on CR and no longer lists as beating 10/20. It would also seem as if all his students are quite happy, and some even gave quick lengthy responses claiming that they gained a lot from his coaching.

Now, all that is left is pretty much personal opinion whether you can coach if you dont have a big sample showing you to be a winner on PTR. Maybe that actually is interesting, but it seems to me like if nothing new comes up we can start setting lines on the possibility of wobbly going through more women than socks in the near future aswell, and if it counts if you buy them.


Dogmeat, you're not being a douche per se but you cannot honestly expect to ever be shown proof that myth's coaching helped the way you define proof. Have you tried the program where you put in your percieved winrate and deviation and tested possible outcomes for actual winrates? There is only so much you can discuss, I think we've done it by now.

yes it should be 2mirrion handz with a decent winrate plus positive PTR comments from his page to prove that he is playing solid and not just on a heater
so 4 tabling 6max that would take around 4 years i guess.

he may not live up to the online standards, because he doesn't need or care to as much as the nonstop cashgrinders. its not that he can't keep up, he 4-6 tables. most of the rest of us strived to 20+ table.

do u really believe that if myth sat 2/4 - 3/6 for 3 months on 60k that he would be below 60k after 3 months, him playing 8 hours a day 6 tabling?

i lean torwards him x2 - x2.5 on the original investment.

Okay so lets be more specific. Do you think it's ethical to lock individuals into such long-term profit sharing agreements of 1-2 years in maximum potential length? I think the length of such a contract guarantees a payoff for the coach as long as the student is competent and working hard. That makes the coaching less relevant. I would see Myth's profit sharing arrangements as much more fair to his students if they were 3 month contracts which the student can then choose to renew or cancel upon the completion of each 3 month cycle. Maybe this is something Myth would consider changing about his arrangements in the future?
