it's not like i have a problem with people who post bad beats on here and occasionally complain about their luck in life... it's understandable and a normal psychological behavior... that's different because it's mostly insincere. my problem is with the people who don't have the capacity to step back and re-evaluate their situation realistically, and who cannot do anything BUT that and are looking for sympathy in the process.

in other words, every time i think or say "god i run so bad" (however rare that is nowadays) i never really mean it, and i have only a problem with people who really believe/mean it

Loco I think it's quite clear this blog is personal. If you just wanted to make a post about bad luck it would have been much more general. You clearly find it revolting that a winning player could ever have so much to complain about. That's why you draw the comparison to the holocaust. It clearly offends you that a winning player would complain in the fashion he does.

So Loco after reading what you've written I'll post some counter-points:

1. Some people post angry comments on bad beat hand histories or blogs as a form of cathartic release. Words said an anger aren't comparable to a persons mindset when they are calm and rational.

2. You apparently believe a winning player cannot run bad. Running bad means you're winning less than you should based on luck. If a player who has won 50k should have won 110k based on their all-in EV that player is running horrifically bad. Your posts of Newblish's winning PTR's are not evidence of anything except that you apparently don't understand the concept of running bad.

3. The options in your poll clearly reflect a personal bias. The presentation of your blog clearly reflects that same bias.

So basically Loco you've massively failed to prove anything except maybe that you're an asshole. Unless you have access to Newblish's entire database for every site he plays on and have done a statistical analysis of his all-in hands how can you claim to know anything about whether he runs good or bad? I've watched him play many many sessions and he's run pretty horrifically bad over a very long period of time. He's won far less overall than what he should have to this point. You should probably reserve judgment the next time you don't have any real information other than your personal bias on a subject.

Because I'll admit that a lot of the time i am like this and see things for what they are directly when they happen(without looking at long term success, which i certainly can claim i have). That session a donk bought in for $320 at 2/4 and built it up by stacking me 5times to $2600 or so. I was down $2200 in the blink of an eye, yet managed to get it all back. That day was recorded as +$2200 yet it was only ~250 after rake. PTR has some extreme flaws and are extremely inaccurate.

I'm aware that I have very little control over my argumentative side. Whenever I'll be involved in a community I'll be outspoken, there's very little I can do about it, and I don't think there's anything bad about it for the time being.

I do believe that my time could be better spent elsewhere. This blog came to being because of many factors and not just what it looks like, and I was influenced to do it by others.

I still await your 10 paragraph response as a rebuttal to my post. I'd be interested to know why you decided to include things that are over a year old and why after seeing 2-3 hand histories and one msn coonvo(that were yesterday) that you somehow believe i act like that all the time? Things are good in my life right now, I don't have anything to complain about. I'm on my biggest downswing ever and flared up for a short time(a few days) recently which now apparently warrants an entire blog post though. You are the one who is delusional if you think you know me and how this somehow reflects who i am as a person. Some of your comments are so harsh that they actually make me laugh. "I probably cant tie my own shoes" "I dont know who i am" - reference to bejamins blog. You might call it "tough love" or "honesty" but all you're really doing is making yourself look like a complete idiot. I want to congratulate you on that, you've undeniably proved it this time.

You really did yourself in this time, i mean all that my friends and I can do at this point is feel sorry for you. You might think it should be the other way around, but knowing nothing about me and going through all the trouble of making yourself look like a know-it-all douchebag in front of hundreds of people really did you in.

The worst thing about all this is that Loco sits on his high horse being critical of Newblish for something he probably does quite regularly himself. It just drives him crazy that any winning player could ever have something to complain about. It makes him so angry that a guy who has all of 426 posts in 3+ years of having membership on this site could complain once and a while. Those blogs he posts once every 3+ months and the odd hand history with accompanying comment must really get his panties in a knot, so much so he decided to write a hate filled blog about this villain living in our midst! How did the readers of LP not notice these random hand history posts that nobody else but Loco decided to read. He's making sure the poker community is protected by making certain no obscure hand history comment goes unread or unchallenged for it's validity!

I'd love to put a camcorder in your room Loco. I'd love to see what it looks like when you have a session where some ultimate fish is up 4-5 buy-ins on you purely because they've run sick good. I'm so sure you never express any feelings of frustration or anger when this happens. You probably beat yourself with a little whip exclaiming "Bad Loco! Bad! Why would you allow yourself to get irrationally angry at bad luck in poker! This is not productive!" I'm glad we have you here Loco to tell us what is and isn't acceptable behavior. I don't know what we'd all do without your moral compass protecting us from bad behaviors posted once in a blue moon. I'll make sure to put the word out. Newblish needs a time-out.
