I really want coaching from the TT.

Why I deserve it? Because I think I'll be able to absorb more knowledge from you and be able to pass it on to the rest of the community. I'm open minded I guess.

edit: I Play NL100/200 and 400 when the games run on ub (traffic kinda blows so I'm forced to split NL100/200). Pretty much all full ring nowadays. Would love towork on my 6 max game tho. Lost a lot of confidence in it after losing at it for significant hand samples.

It's not that I'm hopeless but obviously I'm not that great either. Kinda sucks putting so much effort for ... meh. This is 95% Rush nl5/nl10 6max. I do play some normal tables, but it's mostly Rush mainly for sick amount of RB I'm getting weekly. I wish I could say I'm useful member of the community yada yada but aside from rofl thread - I'm not. Take it fwiw.

Me. because my major issue is postflop and understanding marginal spots to win the most and lose the min. Which i think u can help with.

i'd like to take the coaching because id like to clarify some spots that are very common but i often missplay them. And being a microlimiter i cant affor much on coaching

As you may know i'm doing three sessions with SSNL LP guys myself and i'm thinking about becoming an active coach. That's why i could use all the experience. I think you would gain bonus karma points as your knowledge would not only benefit me but would indirectly help others.

Little about myself -

My name is Mike, im pretty friendly/outgoing and I consider myself intelligent and a fast learner. I started playing poker online back in late 2006 recreationally, then starting really playing in 2008. I joined the Marine Corps in 2008 as well which significantly slowed my learning pace and started grinding threw the stakes. I'm currently playing 100nl due to a emergency cashout that is now resolved. Before the cashout I was beating 100 & 200nl consistently on Rush with about a 3.5bb winrate. I think that I would be a excellent student because Im easy to communicate with. I pick up/implement theory fast and I have the basic ABC theory of poker down and I'm learning about more advanced theory as I play and I'm not close minded if somebody says a certain move is wrong.

Available on trillian, ventrilo, teamviewer etc..

I'm super interested. Mostly because You're one of my heroes.

I'd like to think I'm high up on the +karma decisions because I'm playing nl50 for a living. The only coach I've ever had was back in my nl2 days. I feel I take criticism very well and I learn very quickly while being taught so I think I could learn a ton from you in a short period of time. Also because I'm playing for a living I don't have time constraints on when I can play and should show improvements very quickly.

Im very interested, most sure thing is you dont know me but I wanna learn a lot, I grinded my roll from zeros, started playing nl2 and now Im reaching nl100, I think I can absorb a lot of your knowledge and become a successful player, I will PM you my screen names so you can check Im telling the truth about escalating limits.. this is a bit of a longshot but I hope I get picked =)

Getting coached by you TT would be an awesome experience since my impression from you is that you always come with constructive posts when people ask for help, that grants a lot of respect imo. As for me, I would really like to have someone look at my game, I believe that a player will gain the most with hard facts and critisism rather than just gaining knowledge by reading books and getting spooned at the tables.

It's cool that people offer free coaching like this. Grats for those who got it, I'd love to have this in the future for sit n go's but you'll find my english accent pretty weird since i'm a french canadian.

me because im taking shots at 3/6 ish stakes and ive been a smallstakes player for like ever and ever and finally try to move up

I would definitely like to get my name in the hat. I’ve been playing poker for roughly 2 years now and started because my roommate’s friend and former WC3 pro recommended it. I started with $50 @ NL2 and now play mostly 50NL, although I have played a little 100 and 200NL. I’m mostly fish chasing at those limits though. I have a lot of leaks, especially in 3B pots. These leaks are what keep me from moving up as I know they’ll be exploited more. I’d love to get a fresh perspective from a very solid 6-max player. I learn quickly and am willing to give this my all. I’ll PM you my PT3 since I purged it back in November(ish). I have potential! I'm interested. I used to play a little bit of NL200 after seemingly crushing NL100 FR, but after a cash out I had to move back down to 100. Since then, for about 2-3 months, I've had a downswing where I have had to drop to NL50. I was so confident before when I was beating NL100 for 5ptbb/100 I think around 70k hands, and in the next 30k where my downswing happened brought my win rate to something like -0.5bb/100 over 100k sample.

Since then I dropped down to NL50 as previously mentioned, and decided to try getting back into 6m play. It would be awesome if you helped me get back into the groove of things and to rebuild confidence, as I'm not even sure if I'm playing bad or just running bad anymore.

Another interesting thing is I frequent the forums a lot, and in many hand discussion threads I usually IM one of my friends here to talk about it and one of us usually responds. But then we see you post and a lot of the time you'd advocate something totally different than we did, and I'd be very interested in getting to learn why you suggest some of the things you do.

edit: Would also be very nice for the possibility of a short coaching session to turn into a friendship with a player as good as you, no homo.

Me because I LOVE Anderson Silva I think he's awesome and you would agree and because I am a quick learner and funny and would make the session very fun

i recently moved up to nl200 and i think i'd benefit a lot from the coaching session. if anyones paid attention to my posting on here throughout the last year or two, ive made a ton of improvements from taking part in the discussions (your posts in my threads especially have helped me out a lot) and i think i still have the potential to get a lot better. im open to criticism and constantly try to reevaluate my game and im self critical to a fault.

that and since i came up through the low stakes forum i always try to give back and help newer players out whenever possible.

i post a decent amount and we have played wc3 together. little coaching plz?

You run bad, I've been dropping mine 5 times/day for over 2yrs now and its still in perfect state

Weve played a decent amount over the years. I would like to get insight to your style. I tried experimenting with it earlier and you do alot of things well that i would like to know more about.

I took about half a year off to finish school and take the bar. Im getting back into it. I have to pay for two kids and a wife all from pokers. The legal industry isnt strong so i may have to play poker.

I think I could also point some things out for you as well so it wouldnt be entirely one way.

I am a 50NL player looking to transition into 100NL and above (2.6k roll). I've been thinking about coaching options for a while to help improve my game and give me the confidence I need to move up as smoothly as possible. However, I've been a bit hesitant about it because I'm not sure about how much poker experience/knowledge I'd personally be able to acquire from a coaching deal. At this moment I don't really want to drop a few hundred for a few hours and end up disappointed at my progress. I'd like to sample your free coaching as way to measure the potential benefits that I could realize if I did decide to go through with getting further coaching. This opportunity will also allow me to gain a valuable contact if I feel that your coaching is extremely beneficial, and if you decide to start coaching for money, then I'd be interested in working out a longer term deal in the future.

I would love this but feel other players may benefit more since I think most of my game right now is hurt mainly by not playing focused and tilting (gotten much better since my fml blog post though) but maybe advice on how you calmed tilt or learning what notes u have on me or what u think of my play from the hands u have on me and how to improve would be really awesome to hear.

I've been a reg at midstakes on Stars for a while now playing 400NL and 600NL with the occasional shot taking at 1KNL. Would be cool to get some feedback on my play and also just discuss general strategy. I think you're a cool guy, and from what I remember about playing you before you seem to have a fairly different approach to the game than I do so I think seeing your perspective on things would be interesting.

Its pretty cool that you're offering to do this. I've seen some of your HH's and you make some pretty sick calls. My friend is a midstakes player and used to post on LP but he says this site's dead. He made the jump pretty well online, but I really haven't had much success graduating from 50nl. We just got back from the casinos in Mississippi, ran pretty good and made 3k this week there playing 1/2 hohoho. He keeps calling me a nit, help me fix my nittyness!

I'll be redepositing 1k this week, and playing 25nl w HM and using the other 3k for some live games. if I run good the first couple sessions i'll continue to play them because that game is passive and juicy.
