I really really wanted The Bus to lose that cooler situation because of the way he showed his cards... I can't stand that, it annoys me when ppl do that, its like if they were meaning "IM SO GOOD I TRAPPED U!" asdasdasd

For the whole week I was liking him, he seemed to be playing well, making some obvious mistakes here and there but playing well overall for a LC standard... i was rooting for him... until that...

I'd agree with you almost every time but given the circumstances.. i'll cut the guy some slack.

The KK vs AA hand was pretty weird, I guess Jetten didnt know exactly how much was Bob up... He probably thought that he had around 25-30k in profit and I would definitely think Bob would do the same thing with QQ/JJ because if he had one of these hands and with only 6 hands more to go he would probably think there is not going to be a better spot to double or win big money, im not sure if he will do that with tens, probably not but AKs i think he would play it the same way...

If It was Bobs entire money I would imagine Peter to fold because when u get 5bet pot 350BBs is obviously AA but with just 6 hands more to go Peter has to think that Bob thinks that Peter is 4betting him light because he has to make moves soon so after thinking about it, I dont think stacking off there with KK vs Bob is a mistake... $40k in profit is sure a lot for Bob but Im going to stick to the idea that Jetten didnt know exactly how much Bob was up...

RasZi did you feel awkward standing there at the end when Amanda for some reason said 'Do you wish your brother was here?'

I mean seriously who even thinks about saying that to someone that just lost his brother and is currently on air on international television.. christ...

the bus even said that b4 the AA KK hand he was ready to "lock it up" (fucking fish term). anyways, i don't know why people are saying his range is wide there. He shoved all in with the nut straight/redraw and now he's doin the same thing with AA. I don't think he ever does this with ak or qq here. And cmon, him and his fiancee need money so they can get married and make tons of fish babies that our kids will pwn

Probably didn't feel awkward at all because she didn't say that.

The brother comment was not cool. I don't know how I would have reacted if she asked me the same thing. They probably wouldn't air it.

Peace of mind cant be bought.

I think peter jetten played very well. wasn't really running shit over or whatnot, but I could hardly see a hand I felt was misplayed.

Holy shit retards she said, "Do you believe your brother Joe was here with you?". Like watching over him play poker poker etc not "Do you wish he was here". One is standard and everyone asks it and one makes no sense to ask someone. Language barrier FTW I guess.

I knew she didn't say exactly what I wrote but mentioning his brother not being alive in any way is just asinine to me, what the hell @ doing that at what should have been a happy moment.

Amanda has a hard job. Sitting there in a freezing studio when she is like 90 lbs and half naked and having to make up stupid small chat at the start and end of each show. Maybe she has an earpiece that she gets her lines fed to her.. but it's still awkward to try to do closing interviews with an entire table of players in under 30 seconds. Last week after Daniel split a pot with Hachem with AA vs TT he said "ive never been so excited to get half my money back with AA" then Amanda walks up and says "Daniel, have you ever been so happy to get half your money back with AA?" They just need to cut all the bullshit talking parts from t.v. episodes. It's supposed to be a 1 hour program and we only get 30 minutes of poker..

Actually what she said was perfectly, fine, the old guy was ranting about his brother for minutes, even pulled out that random lottery ticket. Then started saying that his brother must be here now since he fucked up the lottery ticket, now his brother is helping him win this pokerstars thing. Asking him at the end, ,do you think he was? is not asinine, it is meaningful to what the old dude was already talking about/thinking

I have learned from poker that being at the table is not a grind, the grind is living and poker is how I pass the time

I agree, I wouldn't be able to do her job, it must be very annoying and she probably feels like she needs a more challenging job... I lol when theres a big pot going between two guys (remember the Ansky vs Hellmuth's KKvsQQ?) and the 4 other guys at the table run to Amanda and they all so excited start to tell her "omg I think he has XX, the way he played it and the way he bet, i think it has to be that or XX,XX,XX but I don't see how is he bluffing there"... etc, pretty much she is the person everybody goes and whines or brags to and she can't do anything about it lol

You don't think it makes people happy to believe that their loved ones are watching over them?

He brought it up (his brother) in the most random, out of nowhere way. He obviously wanted/or believed his brother to be a part of what will probably be a life changing moment. It's like when Tiger Woods father passed away and everyone says crap like, "Do you think he was out there watching on the course with you today?". It happens all the time.

I think he is committed to any hand he 3bets with. After the 3bet he has 30k in profit and he is risking it to win 180k in cash + the 50k passport. That's still great equity even if he is a 4 to 1 dog. Unless the money means a lot to him or he thinks he can find a better spot. He also made a pot sized 3bet a few hands earlier with TT and I don't think he would fold to a 4bet there either.
