Hi everybody,

I'm a dutchy, 20 yo, and I've been playing online poker for about 6 years now, but I've started playing with real cash in october '06, when I got $50 for free.

Had a rollercoaster year with my real$-account to be honoust. Started playing on the Beginners-tables on Party with 0,02-0,05 stakes, and a few months back I played vs PoorUser, straate and Rekrul for a few weeks on 5-10 Stars. Has to be said that I did not have the bankroll for those stakes exactly. Right now I'm working my way up there in a proper way, although I have to start all over again because of a cashout I made about a month ago.

I got here via someone who pointed out to me this was the best forum to go to if I wanted to get new info and insights, and so far you guys kept up his promise 'cause it's sometimes refreshing to read new points of view. So I'll stick around here for a while I guess.

Sup site. My name is Manny, known as Manny or HellBoY in brood war. I'm 21 years old. I started playing texas holdem online about 2 years ago. I believe I am a gambler at heart, but I also believe I am smarter than alot of people(thats probably one of my flaws.) I used to play online pretty often, but now I play mostly live games being I live in new york city and there are plenty of spots for me. I enjoy upper stake games rather than lower. I've played every stake at NL from $25/$50 blinds and lower. I play mostly $5/$5 blinds(sb and bb are same). My biggest flaw has always been that I play out of my BR. A few people have often attempted to drill the importance of proper broll management to me and I just don't listen. I'm addicted to "knowing" that my smarts are going to win a majority of the time, and that I'll only lose to bad beats and horrible run. The problem is when I do take the beats, I probably just lost a 3rd-5th of my roll. If the bad luck continues, tilt will more than probably take care of the rest. I haven't played much in the past couple of weeks/months. Work, school, and social life has been keeping me busy. I'm looking to start again, but I want to go about it the right way. I want to play the proper grind which is like 25-50 buyins per stake? I also want to involve myself with this community and learn from it. A few people have told me I should and since I have the starcraft background I figured why not. I'm open to any pointers and or critisism as long as it will improve my poker.

Hello, my name is CJ Bhatt, I am 18 years old. I live in Chapel Hill, NC, which is pretty fun I guess. I go to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I was introduced to online poker through an acquaintance at college, Dan, who on PS is BeerDan. He gave me $800 to start off with and I plan to start out at NL25 and move up accordingly. I hope this will be a good relationship from which I can gain knowledge about poker.

Im playing poker now since a half year, and play on the microlimits. 25nl 9tables, or 50nl 4 tables. On fulltilt (cash) and Pokerstars (tournaments/sit n go;s)

Lex "RaSZi" Veldhuis always post his hands here, and showed me a couple. And the main reason i registeredthat now i can give a comments there . But i shall look also on the forum, maybe i can learn alot here.

hello everyone
ive been lurking here for some time, and i figured it is time i introduced myself
im a 28 year old it student from norway, been playing poker for a couple of years.

like a lot of others here i played startcraft, and learned of this site through teamliquid.net.
i still play it on occation, mostly 2v2v2v2 bgh and shit like that.

as for poker i started out watching my little brother play and thought hey, this looks like fun.
i deposited a few times, blew it all away then quit before i started getting at least a little wiser about what i was doing.
i play mostly mtts, had a few decent cashes but play mostly for the fun/challenge of it.
