Hi there,

My name is Mischa and I have been lurking around this site long enough to finally introduce myself.
25 year old, from the Netherlands, but living in Geneva, Switzerland right now because I graduated recently (from Groningen University) and got myself into a UN career (because of which I can play a lot less than I used to, but hey, one needs a backup plan if the grinder-dream doesnt work out! )

I play poker since March '07 and basically am stuck at NL25 (6max) right now because of a big cashout (played NL50 and a bit NL100) before that. Planning to work my way up without any cashouts for a while, UN salary should be enough to live from...
Before starting in poker I played broodwar for quite some time and was a TL.net visitor (username Veigh). But with an APM not exceeding 120 I found out clicking on pokerbuttons is more my thing

My name is Lamont, and i've been kinda checking out the site periodically for awhile. When I use to play SC I went under the names Mr.Pibbs@ and [CF]Ragar.. and a few others, I've played sc since the day it came out, etc etc kinda stopped after like 2003 or so though. Man the exodus from SC into so many other games/poker for sc players has been pretty cool that i've observed anyways. Currently at my job, I seem to have some downtimes, so I was looking to get into poker some, and just read up about it and get more disciplined about it. Soooooo.. here comes another .25/.50 cent noob! Whoo WHOO!

I play guitar (prefer playing my acoustic) and I sing as well - going to put some vids up on youtube soon to get some opinions. Jack Johnson probably one of my fav artists
I dont really play video games only now and again. I like COD4.. poker means I spend enough time in front of a screen already.
I like clubbing and going to gigs. Mainly listen to rock music but don't hate any type of music just depends on my mood/where we are... like Daft Punk/Hed Kandi are cool, if you guys have heard of them.
Watch soccer (call it football here obv).. but into tennis, table tennis, cricket hahaha
Drinking.. smoking... do weed now and again just for a laugh with friends..

So I'm kind of new here after lurking here like maybe 2-3 months (LOL, 1 post made asking n0rthf4ce how he made some sick 100/200 call when DN moved in on him because DN is an obvious soulreader). So I've been playing poker online for like 3 months now off and on not playing too much but it lately got more and more of my interest and thought I should give it more of a shot to get at least somewhere so I thought it would be a good idea to become more active at a nice looking poker forum. Been lurking 2p2 as well but clearler LP.net >>> 2p2 so EZ choice. As for like gamer background, haven't been much of a Starcraft player, played it some but more Warcraft 2 and Warcraft 3 and Diablo II because of friends that played those games more. Also played some Counterstrike and WoW from release on fairly hardcore (you could say I've been pretty competitive there) but stopped playing WoW like July this year because it got a mayor bore. I'm 18 years old, from Holland. On first year in college studying business economics. Apart from poker my current hobbies are still some gaming, mainly on my Xbox 360 nowadays, listening to music and hanging out/going out/getting drunk with friends. Don't do any sports although I should clearly get off my lazy ass more often to do at least some. I think this is mostly it, I hope I can learn a lot from you guys and hopefully in some time return the favor

Sup everyone. My name is Cameron and I'm from Michigan and freezing my balls off as it's been in the single digits of late.

Like many here, I also loved playing Starcraft way back in the day, but didn't play it seriously since I stunk. Similarly, I love poker and right now stink at it too. Been playing for real monies after selling 2 million play chips in early September 2007 for $20. Built that up to a decent amount $1200+ or so. I am currently at NL25 FR where it's been much tougher for me. I have a 2.7 ptbb/100 over 20 K hands at NL25, so I have a ton of leaks. Don't know where, but I'm sure I have them. Anyways, nice to meet everyone.
