I've been reading on here for about a year and I started posting recently so here's my intro...

My name is Zack and I am 28 and live in Cincinnati, OH. Thinking back to the Fall of 1998....I was walking down the halls of my dorm at Univ of Cincinnati. I heard "SCV ready to go" coming from someone's room so i walked in to investigate and found Starcraft. The CD was burned probably 20 times that week and the game exploded onto the LAN of the dorm. One weekend I brought a copy home for my brother to play. At 13 years old, he started annihilating everyone and the person known as Rekrul was born. You know the rest of the story.

I play poker with friends and at the local casinos on the river in southeast Indiana. Mainly tournaments. My shining poker moment was about a little over a year ago. Dan was in town for Christmas and we went to the fabulous Belterra casino for a $65 tournament. Around 60-70 people entered and I won it for a little over 1k. Dan busted in the first 10 minutes but he spent the evening terrorizing the local grinders and elderly playing 1/2NL. I've cashed many other times but that is my only casino win.

My life is as "unsick" as it can be but I have experienced "the sickness" of living with Dan and ElkY during a couple weekends for the WSOP and NBC-HU. I met a few of you at that sushi place last summer for Dan's birthday.

I live with my fiancee and dog and work a normal job. I enjoy my job more because of the people and not the work but the mortgage has to get paid.

I play guitar and listen to hippie jam music like Phish/Umphrey's McGee/moe./Disco Biscuits. If anyone wants a new band to listen to, Umphrey's McGee is bangin. Go see them live. They also have lots of vids on YouTube.

Hey, I am Mike, I'm 17 and have been playing poker for while now, started house games a couple of years ago, not really knowing what I was doing and then moved to mostly online. I kind of just threw money onto online poker, but in the last two months I have really gotten serious and have been grinding nl5 and trying to get to nl10, but have been struggling staying at nl10 for too long. I am good friends with Subaru and he's helped me alot so far, but now I've decided to take some initiative and join the forums and learn some things for my self, and be more of a part of these forums.

I play cashgames up to $1/$2 at various sites (Betfair, Ultimatebet, Everest, Ongame), and I suck monkeyballs at tournaments so I never play those 'cept for the occasional $5 crapshoot on Stars or a Super Turbo at Betfair to practice my (rather useless) push/fold skills. I study applied physics, I'm into prog music and I'm a semi-pro pokerplayer, it's not my full time job, but I do earn my living with it.
