Im another one of those starcraft players that was eaten by poker.. because my friends made me play haha

well i am really into it now and just want to learn how to become a better player, and LP seems like the right place . Currently I'm playing microstakes on full tilt and its going decent so far. Well nice to meet you guys :D

Whats up ppl, just want to say hello to all pokerplayers hopefully I can see most of you on the tables and take your money hehe, I consider my self a pretty good poker player, learned all my stuff playing locally here in Costa Rica there is alot of good tourneys. Any recomendations of where I can play for free at first to get the feel for things online. Much appreciation to all and good fortune with the playing!!!

Hey my name is 6thsens3 or m3 how ever you want is fine, I'm pretty good a poker I have been playing some local tourneys getting the hang of it before I came online, now I think Im ready to play on the net and measure my level of playing, I have been sober about 5 minutes and will probably drink another one as soon as the second half of the Costa Rica vs. Mexico soccer match starts.

Also, I'v been a winning player for 2 yrs now, so I can also contribute to the discussion. I never read any books and just browsed forums like this a few times, basically just learned more as i played. Discussing poker with someone would be very interesting. How is everyone in this forum doing ?, My name is Manny and i'm from providence rhode island and It's good see so many people from all over the world getting together in this type of setting. In the past i used to go to the casino to play some video poker just to pass the time . And now i'm thinking on playing it online.My question is , with all this new casinos online , how can a person like me with no expererience whatsoever , know for fact that the next casino i play online is legit and is not going to rip me off out of my savings . i've been looking around and checking some video poker sites to get some information on the matter ,you see i have a little of bit problem betting my hard earned money online. i also don't know much about the game just the basic and i 'd like to improve it ,If i can only find someone that can explain it to me in plain english.

Hi, i use liquidpoker for poker articles some time ago, i think i have been using this site since 2008, and have only registered because my friend is now helping me with some hands, great help, i read a lot of threads but i just dont feel posting...
Anyway im johnpbg, im a Brazilian, used to play WOW since 2005/2006 reached some great ratings on this expansion on WOW at arenas, and at BC at pve...
I dont play WOW since 3 months i think, i stopped playing poker on August this year, and im all the way MTT play even cash sometimes get my attention i dont have a bankroll for XXX max buyins, when i start getting my bankroll so high i started cashing out everything .. to party and stuff, kinda tilt monkey stuff and since im back, reading all books again, pratticing all the way back again, im not that good at poker, i can say i started playing online poker on may 09 for REAL.. im playing on U$1-3 buyins @ pokerstars and hope get my bankroll back for idk maybe turn it on a job... who knows?
im really dedicated on what i do, and i 'll try my best...
