first you said everyone in the world could beat 600nl, then everyone who graduated high school, and now top 50% of intelligence. i dont even know how you pull these numbers out of your ass.

the truth is we'll never know how many ppl are capable of beating it under your fantasy beat 600nl or die scenario, but we do know thats not a realistic scenario and something like that is never going to happen. if someone cant beat it on their own motivation then i dont really care that theyd beat it if they were going to die and putting every waking hour into poker blah blah w/e. people get too caught up in potential (something you cant even judge objectively) and not reality. being able to get yourself motivated, in a good mindset, etc to play good poker is part of the job description and as far as im concerned if you cant do that then you lack the necessary skills to play poker. it doesnt matter that you think you have the mental capabilities or w/e, if youre not doing it then it doesnt matter.

lemon you come off really pretentious saying that things like discipline and motivation are easy things that everyone can do to beat high stakes poker. you havent done it yourself have you? if its so easy how come more people arent able to do it? youre marginalizing the work of the people who have worked hard and can beat those stakes.

+1million to everything jolin said

i mean lemon how in the fuck can you just go and say "this is what a person needs to beat 3/6" without having even done it yourself, forget pretentious that's just retarded, i have somne similar arbitrary awesome guidlines to beat 25/50 1. sit 2.??? 3. profit fking bling blang blaow just that easy.

and what does "do everything to succeed" even mean, there's always something more you can do.

edit - drunk sorry if i sounded like an ass, gl night/everyone

actually that's a moot point he never said all it takes is intelligence to succeed, just that x% of people meet the minimum intelligence requirements.
