You cant ever call a pure Tournement player who has had multiple tournament success a proven winner. Not even someone with 11 bracelets.

Infact the fact that Neilly is so bad at cashgames is proof he is terrible at poker. Running good and making some money in tournaments does not make him good at MTTs. For example I can say any cashgame winner over 1 mil hands at midstakes would be a far far better MTT player.

mig.com, apestyles, gboro, doc sands, blur5f6 off the top of my head. fwiw i agree with you, but i think you're being a little harsh. The majority of mtt pros are terrible at poker, but the guys i mentioned (and there are several more) are absolutely disgusting poker players, and they are 'pure' mtt players.

There's also a number of h/s cash pros who started as MTT grinders back in the day, $tinger, Ansky, and luckychewy for example.

Ask anyone you respect if they think any of the names I mentioned are not proven winners. You're just being an elitist now and arguing stupid semantics. Yes, technically, you're probably right (I don't know enough about the math/care enough to find out) that we can't 'prove' they are winners like you can 'prove' cash games pro's are, but that doesn't mean they aren't amazing poker minds and winning players.

im not gna argue how good those players u mentioned are. I know some are good some i haven't heard of and some prob suck w/e

We know this because he sucks at cashgames there for he sucks at tournament pokers. it might not be 100% but its pretty damn close.

still took me a long time to become a solid winning mtt player with 2 summers in vegas with numerous professional help.

wobbly, your ego is pretty outa wack or your in a lot of pain and misdirecting it or something.

theres nothing wrong with educating a few people in mtts for a few bucks. many people would love to hit 1-15k scores etc more regularly than they do, and to the ones that play pure cash, they can get a fast grasp of how to play mtts etc.

i've had numerous students on parttimepoker.com (used to do my sundays staked by this site) all said i was the best coach i had by far.

Its like whenever you post its because somebody else is getting attention and your post is explaining how all this attention and praise really ought to be directed towards you. You claim to be the most secure person on this forum when its so obv how insecure you are. Let me guess: You where an only child but all that attention and praise you got from mommy when you where young just wasnt quite enough. You have even become so desperate for it that you seek it on a forum where 90% of the people dislike you and think you are a tool. Am i right?

Nobody is doubting that you are a great poker player. Just stop being such a fucking dick all the time and people might actually respect you.
