Didn't read the thread but here's a few good tips that woulda saved me a ton of hurt and pain when i first started playign live.
ALWAYS SHOW 2 CARDS AT SHOWDOWN. some places may call your head dead if you just flip over your top pair card and hide your embarrassing 3 kicker. Just show both card towin the pot otherwise the pot may get shipped elsewhere.
Make sure to announce your actions and preferably the amount as well if you're raising. Since you probably won't be used to handling chips so you maybe mis count them and throw in the incorrect amount. ie want to raise someone's gay $10 bet to100 but accidentally counted out half as much or something and only put in 50. That can cost you hella $
Please turn your hand over at showdown within a reasonable time instead of doing epic slowrolls. |
