im really sorry this happened to you man, you worked very hard. But from being in your shoes i would rebuild your life, find other ways to make money, and see if you still want to play poker or try and hit more goals.. that way you have other outlets and other ways to have a stable lifestyle.. i did that, and i dont really wanna play anything but live poker, so thats what i do, my exit from playing for a living worked very well and i know its not going to be that easy for everyone, but your a smart guy witha good personality, you can figure this out. But my 2p is not to go back quickly, build and work with any other passion you have in life. If u wanna talk or want help with anything u can always hit me up on msn or aim

Its hard to make a easy buck legally, its impossible to make a easy buck morally.

i don't really think i'm in a position to give advice on this matter but just wanna wish you good luck in whatever you end up deciding to do.

This happened to me in 2010.. Was crushing 50nl and moved up to 100nl. Crushing at start then massive downswing.. got frustrated and started losing at 50nl also.

I took about 4 month break away from poker but kept in touch by looking at other people's hands and watching videos.

I picked it back up in January and crushing 100nl and 200nl so far :x

Take a break man. It will reset your mind and you'll play well again.

tough break. all the best though.

i agree with chris wholeheartedly.

read saki's blog and even engage's blog when he went through the down swing. it helped me get some perspective on both life outside of poker as well poker itself.

Browsing through your hand histories makes me wonder that you might not be aware these games are possibly play money. Have you ever tried to cash out? - Kapol
