awesome happy for you

are you still playing ~4 tables? The way I look at it is if I start playing 4 tables insted of ~20, I'd need to make atleast 5x the winrate to achieve my current hourly and that's excluding the extra RB. I know I could be improving faster if I 4 tabled, but it's so slow.. what am I suppose to do between folding hands? it seems like there'd be so much dead time especially at FR. idk.. im sure you thought like this when you were mass multitabling :/

btw how much of that 2nd graph is HU?

i never play more then 6 tables now, i notice myself missing alot of stuff like handhistorys from the other guys at tables etc, just feeling the general flow of the players and how they are doing/playing this session

yea, everything comes down to what goals u have, if your goals as a 20 tabling nl100 nl200 player is to 20 table nl400, then maybe its best to continue 20 tableing and improve at just that to be good enough for 400nl

but if your goals is to play 10/20 or higher it might not be as good of a plan ^^

But i indeed felt the same, when i 24 tabled 100NL FR and SH on stars i tryed 4-6 tabling 200NL alot but it didnt work out for me either, i needed that disgusting feeling from looking at a breakeven 800k hand graph to really realise ok i need to stop doing this, this is no fun.

but i just felt like i kinda woke up and just decided to "invest" time into not careing about the hourly to probably get better and get a better hourly later, cuz my goals were to play highstakes in the end, and to be a good player, and not make 50$/hour on NL100 playing robotpoker 6 hours/day for rakeback. then i would rather work at some random place with good CO workers for 20$/hour, thats more exciting

and it exploded pretty fast, i went on a 7k€ heater on 1/2€ after starting to 4 table so that helped alot for the motivation aswell ^^

hm, i filtered out in HEM "less then 3 players" and it said about 80k hands of HU, alot of it is on SH tables though i assume waiting for more action, so im not sure how much of it is at HU tables for longer matches, but i really never sit out for anyone anymore, the better the reg the more fun. i like the challange really even though im not a HU specialist or anything i think that form of poker is superinteresting and i just feel poker is fun again, shotting higher stakes more, playing more HU grudgematches, adjusting to interesting 3 handed dynamics and just outlevel and outthink my opponents, poker is fun when doing that

i felt shit 24 tabling, it was no fun, i didnt feel any skill or challange, it was just a boring job with alittle bit more money then i would make at some random office selling magazines to old people

This blog really inspired me, as I've decided to take the same approach right from the start of my poker 'career'

I'm gonna read this after every time I go autopilot or wallow in undeserved self pity.

Man this made me so happy! No homo but I really aspire to be where you are one day, I'm sure it will happen with discipline.
