what? i think we have very little information to judge this, it would be interesting to hear what Nazgul or others think about this but most overeem losses arent really meaningful to the fighter he is today, Overeem is the best HW striker in MMA and so far he hasnt fought a very strong wrestler however Werdum couldnt even get close to take him down.
I simply dont see where you can base that opinion, if you say Cain has an edge ok thats debatable but saying they are on a completely different level is just plain dumb

Reem has at least equal if not better stanup than Valasquez
But Valasquez wrestling is 10 times better than reems
How can Reems standup be remotely on question? there is no "equal if not better", Reem is 10 times better at striking than Cain, just put Cain in a K1 match and watch him get demolished

This, Cain has decently good MMA striking, Overeem is a K-1 champion, who wins when they fight in MMA though is a completely different question.
Overeem - Lesnar should be a fun fight if Brock can get a take down early on, otherwise he'll be performing some sweet dance moves once again.
Poker chobo.

not sure if serious with your last post ....
U think MMA fighters dont deserve money ?
lol
I never said fighters don't deserve money. I said that Strikeforce is literally bleeding money, which they are.
Strikeforce fighter contracts are bloated, it's part of the problem they have. Another part of their problem is that they're having less and less people attend their events, no matter how many good fights they have on the preliminary and main card, as shown by this past weekend when about 2,000 people showed up for the Grand Prix semifinal after Strikeforce had once again given out many tickets and still couldn't get people to want to use their free tickets.
If you're spending almost $1 million dollars for the prize payout for a stacked card such as this, and only 2,000 people show up to watch even when handing out free tickets, and there's no money to be made from PPV since it was shown on HDNet and Showtime, you're in some serious trouble. (Example: UFC 132 payroll was $1.277 million, their live attendance was 13,109 attendees for $2.3 million live gate, although 5,036 of those tickets were free tickets. This doesn't count PPV buys.) (Couldn't find the payroll for UFC 133/134.)
----------
Both Strikeforce and Bellator had shows going on at the same time. Bellator had around the same amount of viewers it usually gets, even when there's a UFC/Strikeforce event on the same day.
(Taken from MMA Junkie) The top-five and bottom-five Strikeforce-Showtime broadcasts include:
1. "Strikeforce: Fedor vs. Silva" (February 2011): 741,000 viewers
2. "Strikeforce: Overeem vs. Werdum" (June 2011): 624,000
3. "Strikeforce: Carano vs. Cyborg" (August 2009): 576,000
4. "Strikeforce: Fedor vs. Henderson" (July 20011): 571,000
5. "Strikeforce: Diaz vs. Cyborg" (January 20011): 561,000
14. "Strikeforce: Henderson vs. Babalu II" (December 2010): 341,000
15. "Strikeforce: Evolution" (December 2009): 330,000
16. "Strikeforce: Heavy Artillery" (May 2010): 308,000 17. "Strikeforce: Barnett vs. Kharitonov" (September 2011): 274,000
18. "Strikeforce: Los Angeles" (June 2010): 164,000
----------
TLDR, Strikeforce: Barnett vs. Kharitonov:
- $942,000 fighter payroll
- 274,000 Showtime TV viewers vs. 235,000 Bellator 49 on MTV2 viewers, both events held at the same time
- About 2,000 people in attendance, give or take a couple thousand
- Strikeforce fighter contracts are bloated
- Strikeforce is literally bleeding money with every show
which reflects how clueless the average mma fan is... that card was fucking awesome and exciting
but yeah the payouts are stupid i mean, why would you pay 100k + 50k bonus to Cormier? he is a nobody how on earth has he earned 6 figures payouts, Roger Gracie 80k? wtf... he has only beaten cans so far, sure he is promising and shit but he doesnt deserve such payout yet, as he proved.
- Cain Velasquez shows off his dance moves on UFC Latino. + Show Spoiler +
- Alexis Vila trains for his Bellator debut against Joe Warren. (Alexis Vila, bronze Olympic medal in freestyle wrestling, 2 gold medals/1 silver from World Championships, 1 gold medal in Pan-American Games) vs. (Joe Warren, gold Olympic medal in Greco Roman wrestling, 1 gold in Pan American Championships, 1 gold in World Cup) + Show Spoiler +
"I bet if i call him a bitch he wouldnt fight me", he says it like its a bad thing, newsflash Nick, that is what civilized normal people do, imbeciles like yourself fight over an insult and miss the most important opportunity in their lives out of a whim, gj lol.

- With final fight on contract set for UFC 135, Matt Hughes weighing career options. (Basically he will be talked into retiring if he loses since Dana White wont want to resign a washed up legend.)
- Top heavyweight prospect Guram Gugenishvili set for stateside debut under M-1 Global on October 14th.

fedor is fighting jeff monson (sigh) and seeing how cormier struggled vs him and cormier is like the new black fedor (semi-chubby sick fighter) who is good...fedor is gonna have a hard ass time vs him
On side note:
anyone else think jones rampage odds r really wrong? i think odds should be like federer/fedor prime age odds like 10-1 for rampage and 1.05 for jones lol and even then i don't think i'd bet rampage although i pray for miracle from him.

its a shame that the fight against monson could be the last fight of fedor's career. such a disappointment, i wish we were considering fights such as fedor-dos santos or fedor-velasquez.
shogun-hendo will be pretty damn good, really looking forward to that one.
hey baal who was the dutch friend you mentioned in the tv show? strafe? he speaks spanish pretty well afaik

Would be awesome if we had like Fedor vs Cro-cop/Nog/Couture where both fighters retire afterwards.
