+ Show Spoiler +
Junior Dos Santos: $220,000 (includes $110,000 win bonus)
def. Cain Velasquez: $100,000

Now, the usual disclaimer: The figures do not include deductions for items such as insurance, licenses and taxes. Additionally, the figures do not include money paid by sponsors, which can oftentimes be a substantial portion of a fighter's income. They also do not include any other "locker room" or special bonuses the UFC oftentimes pays. They also do not include portions of the pay-per-view revenue that some top-level fighters receive.
For example, as previously reported, UFC officials handed out additional $65,000 UFC on FOX bonuses to Dos Santos ("KO of the Night"), Lamas ("Submission of the Night"), and Henderson and Guida ("Fight of the Night").
In other words, the above figures are simply base salaries reported to the commission and do not reflect entire compensation packages for the event. |

100k $ is what Mariusz Pudzianowski gets for his fights in Poland. Average Polish boxer Albert Sosnowski(yes you probably never heard of him and never will) got 1mln $ for his fight against Klitshko year ago. UFC and ZUffa are greedy bastards who's got enough money to buy every competition and give fighters scraps of their profits.

Well compare UFC athletes to other mainstream athletes like basketball, baseball, football players etc. who play games 1-3 games per week, along with the whole range of merchandise that is sold with player's names on it (jersey's, shoes, hats etc.) How often are you going to run into someone wearing a Kobe Jersey vs someone wearing something Cain Velasquez written on it? Plus also keep in mind that UFC was near bankrupt in the 90's, and just started to turn a profit in the mid 2000's and is now just becoming somewhat mainstream. But yeah UFC athletes should definitely get paid more but it's going to take a few more years, unless there's some credible source that says Dana is a billionaire already. IMO all other athletes get paid way too fkn much, don't know if there's any reasonable way to deal with that issue though. |

^valid point but then u could say the same thing about boxing but they make way more and the # of viewers on each one are similar with the difference that ufc has more events
of course boxing has been around for long time but the disparity of 100k to 15kk is really big |

GSP said he makes between $4 and $5million per fight, and i think his ufc official payment is around $200k, so that number is just a number anyway. I guess Velasquez makes at the very least 1/10 of what GSP makes, and that's a very nice payout imo. |

I wonder how much vag GSP gets.
I seen a video of GSP dancing at a night club, he reminded me of Jean Claude Van Damme dancing in one of his movies, but even JCVD got massive vag in the 80s. |
