I mean Dana is pissed at greg jackson and praises Chael for taking the fight.... who the hell wouldnt take a fight with the champ where no one expects you to win??? There is nothing to lose for Chael at all why wouldnt he take it. I mean I still dont agree with refusing a fight but I dont think Chael should be lauded for it.

It'll be pretty awesome though if Chael wins a couple at 205 and fight Jon Jones

And people hate on Greg Jackson but his fighters all win sooo i dunno.... not good for fans but he is looking out for his fighters, Dana just paints everyone who doesnt do what he wants as the bad guy

all his fighters win because he fights to win no matter what, even GSP in his recent interviews says he will open up his game kind of letting know he is tired of sitting on top of his opponents for 5 rounds to a decision.

I agree that Sonnen shouldnt be praised, its a good chance for him but still others decided to pass.

Sonnen's career ends if he loses this one. Taking this fight when obviously he has little to no chance of winning instead of fighting some bums around like Wandy etc is not a good way to "run" ones "business"

Also nobody wants some huge dhalsim guy dominate everyone when he can obviously fight guys his size. Jones s trying to look and sound all zen and shit fighting guys half his size lol. People like watching Jones fight the same reason people still watch Mayweather ppvs - they wanna see him get fucked up one time.

I think he can and i agree with you to some extent but the variance is slightly larger without the full camp imo.
As far as i know if he had to fight Chael it would be the first pure wrestler he has fought in a long time that would relentlessly try to take him down over and over and over --- chael doesn't quit if he misses once.

Evans didn't do this, nor machida, nor shogun, nor bader, nor rampage --- so i think its fair to say its a different kind of opponent and completely different from hendo as well.

Now if its correct to choose to fight or not I am not quite sure. As a fan i'm against it but if I was in Jones shoes it seems like a tough situation specially if your coaches, the people who you really trust, are telling you not to accept the fight.

The 8 days notice is a bigger disadvantage for Sonnen than for JJ, Sonnen is not in fight shape and JJ is, that is a HUGE difference, if JJ were the one with 8 days to train, then i would toally agree with him refusing a fight.

Yes sonnen is different than those he is a weaker opponent for Jones... good luck taking down a superb judo wrestler with an insane reach advantage twice your size who doesnt respect your striking at all lol.

If you think Jones didn't prepare for the possibility that Dan was going to try to take him down or what to do if it did happen etc then I don't know what to say. Obviously you think Jackson and Jones are the dumbest people on earth and wouldn't of prepared for everything Dan would try and focused only on his standup and "H-bomb". How is working with Mike Dolce and getting to 145:
It was crazy, I was walking around at 180 lbs and he was way to “chill” about it. It was around 5 months out from my last fight when I started working with him. He would say, “its going to be easy man!” but in my head I was scared. After being on the diet for a month, my weight was down to around 172. To make a long story short, my weight went down, energy up, got stronger and could train longer. The week before the fight and the final cut was easy. It really was easier than making 155. I don’t understand how he is so good at this, but he is the real deal.

What’s your rank in Starcraft 2?
I have not got to play the last two seasons very much. I have been training so hard and living in a hotel in Florida. Before that I was a Masters Protoss on the NA and EU ladder.
