I was listening to a radio talk show just now, Jones has a reoccurring hand injury from college, but it would come and go.
Basically he tore a ligament between his thumb and pointer finger, and he cant make a fist and it hurts when he tries to shake someones hand.
If he lets it heal now, he can have a lengthy career that will last at least another 15 years if he wants it.

Recent UFC signings: Chad Corvin, heavyweight, 6-0, team Etown Beatdown & Stanislav Nedkov, light heavyweight, 11-0, team Bulgarian federation BUSHIDO.
- I think there's some fights that aren't title fights that are main events, and it ends up being three (rounds), and it should have been five. I'm a big fan of it, and we're working on that right now. Lesnar vs. Dos Santos was almost a 5 round fight, except their fight was already lined up and didn't want to change anything. (I personally think they wouldn't mind a 5 round match.)
- As for adding extra rounds to fights that are a draw, like 3 round fights + 1 extra round if its a tie: That's a commission thing, White said. It has nothing to do with me. I hate draws.
- On Nick Diaz going into boxing: I just have to sit down and talk to Nick. It's been a long time since Nick and I have sat down and really talked since when he was in the UFC. I jut want to have the opportunity to talk to him. If I leave there and he says, 'I'm doing this. I want to do this,' then we'll honor the deal.
- On TUF 13: In our deal with Spike TV this season, we don't have as many episodes as we've had in the past. We figured that we would be killing some of the reality. We wouldn't have enough time to tell stories. But we really, really made a big mistake not having these guys fight to get in the house. I guarantee you that will never happen again.
- On the UFC lightweight division + Anthony Pettis: With Jim Miller and Dennis Siver making strides in the 155-pound division, some MMA pundits wondered if former WEC champ Anthony Pettis might be forced to wait for his shot at the UFC crown even if he proves victorious in a June matchup with Clay Guida.
White quickly shot down any potential theories regarding the future of the division. No, White said. "It's Pettis".

all these films look fucking awful. Also the fighters and others are constantly talking about how they are trying to make the sport more mainstream/legitimise it/ improve the public perception of it but next thing you see is them starring in a movie that makes the sport seem like some shady underworld gang organised bull shit. The films are also always terrible.
