Thinking of betting against Silva. Anyone having any thought?
The Weidman hype train is set to be derailed in July.
Weidman is an upgraded version of Sonnen, but Silva will have the speed and striking advantage to keep the distance like always.
If Weidman never landed that luckbox elbow as Munoz was coming in, people would still say he isn't ready for Silva, especially with the layoff he's had.

Everyone needs to see that you are king of the castle - PoorUser
That elbow wasn't lucky at all. He set it up and timed it perfectly. He's not good enough to beat Anderson though. His takedowns aren't as effective as Sonnen's and I don't think he'll be able to get Anderson down before he gets knocked out.

^ Skip to 1:50 of the video. The one with the longer hair is a woman. She is fighting Cyborg at the next Invicta FC event. Cyborg will kill her, but the stare down will be crazy. Both terribly ugly, but both beasts in the cage.

Now, the usual disclaimer: The figures do not include deductions for items such as insurance, licenses and taxes. Additionally, the figures do not include money paid by sponsors, which can oftentimes be a substantial portion of a fighter's income. They also do not include any other "locker room" or special discretionary bonuses.
For example, as previously reported, UFC officials handed out additional $50,000 UFC 157 bonuses to Lawler ("KO of the Night"), Robertson ("Submission of the Night"), and Bermudez and Grice ("Fight of the Night").
Mike is fairly weak on the ground but then again quite strong lately in the stand-up (although his recent opposition hasn't been 10/10 fighters).
I say Gunnar will be T/KOd 15% of the time here, wins UD 50% of the time here and Gunnar via RNC or armbar after TD=>SC=>Mount and/or back control 25% of the time.

I wouldn't call him weak in the ground, guy grapplefucked Hathaway fairly badly. That said Gunnar is obviously a much better grappler. Not sure if he gets the takedown though, Pyle might sprawl and brawl. I wanna see the odds.
