The rules are not that Diaz can't smoke weed. The rules are he can't smoke weed during his fight, mainly for his safety i believe. As ricain explained to you, the accredited labs have said it was negative.
Even assuming that he did smoke weed on fight night, 5 years is ridiculous for weed. Silva got 1 year for steroids which is obviously way worse. At worst Diaz can hurt himself smoking weed. Silva can seriously hurt other fighters taking steroids.
Btw my idols are McGregor and Rockhold... but i do enjoy watching Nick fight.
I dont like Nick Diaz, I think he is a huge idiot on so many levels, but this ruling was clearly absolute bullshit and shows once again how the athletic commissions are a joke and need to be rebuilt from scratch.
Splitfiree seriously you are making a fool of yourself talking so strongly about a subject you are clueless with people who know a lot more than you, gtfo.

This part "UFC probably banned him for life just cause they got fed up with his stupidity and were just waiting for a good opportunity to dump his ass " shows how clueless he is.

The first video of Nick pleading the 5th 27 times in a row or whatever is truly amazing. Total lack of both common sense and decency by the commission. It's also completely ludicrous to think you can infer a true/false answer somehow from someone pleading the fifth.
Whatever
In any other decent sport his behaviour would most likely result to a lifetime ban of competition in the sport ( might be just a few years under good circumstances ) . One way or another he got what he deserved. Might not be justified in current scenario, sure as hell is justified overall. Good luck overturning the vote of a state government body over an internet petition that can be signed through bots and its legitimacy is as good as reptile conspiracy theories
Also considering he s banned in Nevada can't he just fight in another state or another country?
I was, except it wasn't ego evolved, its about justice except it wasn't fair in current case.

Larkin vs Tumenov should be a really good fight. Almost feels early to kind of knock one of them off with a loss though instead of having them wipe out a few more solid opponents to be built bigger since both can potentially be top 5 material

Yeah, I agree.
My money will be on Tumenov. Larkin will end up trying to trade with Tumenov at some point and get cracked. The cool thing is, Tumenov will be able to focus more on striking, and less on TDD when fights a guy like Larkin.

Explain why you like this line, aside from it paying good money if Saenz were to win.
