Oh yeah. Pettis would've been another good one. But yeah he's out. Like Edgar was. And Aldo.
If Conor does indeed stomp Nate fast like he did Aldo...a lot of the public gets satisfied seeing Nate get stomped...and Conor's run/legend just grows that much further. Really don't see much of a downside

I was gonna suggest Pettis as well, but he s on a 6 months medical suspension after Alvarez fight as far as i remember
Problem i have with Nate fight is, that its not gonna be interesting, McGregor will stomp him hard and he s about 10 times smarter so the " trash talk " coming out of Diaz's mouth is just sad. He s not even in a position to trash talk, there s nothing he could say that would matter
Actually I saw McGregor noticably angry for the first time in their verbal confrontation, Connor absolutely trashed him however the repeated accusations of using PEDs got to him.

I think they went with Nate because honestly, what Conor is doing now is really crazy anyway - 99% of fighters in that same situation would pull out already (Mendes, Diaz). He can fight Pettis another day and I think they're saving that one for later.

Wonderboy vs McDonald should be an excellent clash of styles.
I really wonder what the odds will be. I have trouble calling the favorite. I think i would bet on Wonderboy tho.
Id guess wonderboy would be a slight favourite.
But yeah it will be quite fun to watch, tactician and game plan against massive skill

- Jon Anik said he'd get a "209" tattoo if Nate Diaz beat Conor McGregor. Welp, he's a man of his word...
- Derrick Lewis has agreed to take on Gabriel Gonzaga on April 10 as Ruslan Magomedov is out with a knee injury.
- Dustin Poirier vs. Bobby Green set for UFC 199.
- Matt Mitrione leaves the UFC and signs with Bellator for a six-figure purse. He's also expected to be a color commentator for their upcoming kickboxing shows.
Nice for Mitrione : ). They should give him a rematch with Kimbo as a welcome present.
Belltor is making great moves, signing:
Phil Davis, Koscheck, Thompson, Henderson, Wanderlei and probably Fedor, Chael and Rory since he says he is not happy with his payment and he has only one fight in his contract.
