i like gunnar better. simpler and more direct. the movement looks better too.

Gotta take Wonderboy over Gunnar. He won't be as afraid of the explosive takedown and one hitter quitter like he was vs Woodley. I think Woodley is all around more dangerous on the feet by far than Nelson. Nelson has better Jitz that's about it

+1
Gunnar has really good stand up but higher level jits, honestly I think his chances are better if he pulled the trigger more standing up and not be so super tentative. He still with COnor?

I like Gunnar over Wonderboy.
They have different styles of Karate, which is kinda cool. Aside from that, Wonderboy has the better kicks, while Gunnar has the better hands. I believe Gunnar can block all of Wonderboy's kicks because he has the better movement and defensive reactions, while I think Gunnar can catch Wonderboy at some point with his straight quick punches like he did to Brandon Thatch and Alan Jouban.
In a 5-round fight, I believe Gunnar can get Wonderboy down at least once, and once is all he needs. Wonderboy has shown to have nothing off his back, and will get raped if Gunnar gets in a dominant position. Regarding cardio, it's probably even, but I don't think this fight goes the distance in a 5 round fight just because Gunnar will have a few different options to catch/counter Wonderboy and either clip him, or get a body lock and trip him/drag him/or use pure upper body muscle to lift him down.
Edit: We all know Wonderboy is a sick good fighter, but take away his kicks and he doesn't really offer anything. He sucks when it comes to striking with his hands, and always throws looping punches in a flurry that seem medium speed and sometimes even slow. Go watch any of his UFC fights and see how ugly his boxing is. Wonderboy has no offensive wrestling, average BJJ skills at best (probably defensive skills only), and his boxing skills are average or a little better.
Rekrul is a newb

yeah woodley kind of exposed him that way. most his opponents will not keep moving forward from hereon out. i do think wonderboy has better hands than he really puts out, but that punch from woodley really fucked with his confidence for sure, feels like machida back in the day. gunnar is exactly the opponent wonderboy is going to have a hard time with after woodley, since the guy is very smart on the feet as well and unorthodox af

wonderboy wasnt afraid of what woodley could do. hes just overrated and overhyped to be the new poster boy (potentially) of the UFC. another loss, hopefully vs gunnar, will confirm this.
the funny thing is we cannot see it until a fighter is exposed. joe rogan does a good job talking these guys up. look at ronda. thats the perfect example.

Yeah it's really the only "fake" thing about Rogan, he just can't help but be loyal to Dana of course. If he wasn't connected to UFC I'm pretty sure he'd have more interesting things to say about MMA in general.
TUF 25 looks fun, they cast "Let me bang bro" and Jesse Taylor (He got removal from TUF 7 finale for bad behaviour). The interesting thing here is that the price is big this time, the winner gets a UFC contract and also $250,000.
