this isn't remotely the most stressful fight, his fight vs Aldo was far more important, his 2nd fight vs Nate was also far more important since a 2nd loss would cement Nate as > than McGregor etc, in fact this fight doesn't have anything special from Conors prespective, on the other hand this is by far the toughest and more important fight in Khabib career... not that he seems that he is the type that it will affect him much though

He got triggered, faced the potential of a jailtime and was in the potential position of losing all sponors and getting cut from the UFC and it was all done because of Khabib in McGregor's eyes.... sure he's under no pressure coming up to this fight.

just saw this actually... well I agree if you're looking at it from the financial perspective, Conor has 100xd his net worth since then and yeah UFC is too morally poor to actually cut him off (in any other sport he would have had his rights taken, all sponsors would've left him and no organization would ever pick him again) - its unwise when it comes to marketing/profit

he could probably just lose the fight, then go have an "MMA match" with Mayweather banking 100milly more and retire forever without any trouble

if we look at it from the legacy perspective, Khabib smashes him and then nobody remembers him as a 2 divisions champion, but the guy that warmed the spot of Khabib the entire time... obviously I dont know which way he thinks, even if he thinks about either of those at all, he could be taking it 1 day at a time not giving a fuck about the next day and I wouldnt be surprised

I am repeating myself but I disagree.

Beating Aldo was the pivoting point in his career, his fight fighting the unbeatable champ... then a 2nd loss to Nate would cement Nate as superior to Conor eliminating his GOAT status with no chance to a 3rd fight.

Losing to Khabib is like losing against anybody else, rematch is gonna happen, excuses about him not being focused will be made etc.

He had that room against Nate cause he tried to beat him in his own game and failed, plus it wasn't that clear that Nate will destroy his ass in pure boxing, at least to the ordinary fan like me I guess, since in perspective it makes sense that Nate will smack his ass in a pure boxing match, since it's literally 80% of his skills.

With Khabib everyone knows whats gonna happen. He s gonna try to put him on the ground and beat the shit out of him, it's not like he s gonna KO him with a punch or some shit like that.
