How would she go about doing this? (just pointing me to a site where you guys think is a good one to buy would be super helpful)
Do you guys think it's wise at this point? Really clueless tbh
|
I don't know much about BTC but you need more info for anyone to possibly answer this. Like what % of her portfolio is 2k, what is her investment horizon, etc. Why does she want to buy BTC if she doesn't know anything about it or even how to buy it?
| She doesn't have a portfolio. She has disposable income and was wondering about the process of buying/selling.
I told her I'd look into it. I figured you guys could explain much better than a google search.
Was wondering what site people use/find the most trustworthy. Quick tips. Exchange vs peer to peer. Basically whatever.
I realise now that asking if people thought it was a good idea to buy at this point is pretty silly haha |

Coinbase is really simple. https://www.coinbase.com/
If she's in Canada it's really simple. I didn't even have to confirm my identity. They just put 2 pre-authorizations on my account, and I told them what the amounts were, and we were good to go. I think the process for Americans is more extensive though. Have to confirm identity I think. Coinbase is probably the best place to start buying BTC, for how simple it is. |

They only want the tech but keep trashing the flagship project of the same haha yeah that's expected of bankers obviously
green open today might test 4k as resistance or establish it as a rocksolid support base |

I remember Antonopolous said that banks wanting to implement the blockchain technology is like when horse carriages wanted to implement the air-filled tire from the newly invented car. |

Bitcoin is pretty close to the bottom. I'm glad this retraement happened so fast, and didn't drag on for months and months. |
