there could be more exchanges with a system like this, but the medium amount of research I did on it showed coinbase to be the cheapest.
IMO use them for low fees but dont use them for storage
low fees could turn into the US tax rate though since if you're american they auto report anyone with >20k worth of transactions

It’s comical how many of the altcoin graphs look exactly the same. Obviously a ton of people are buying coins completely randomly.
It doesn't have to work (altcoin) and it doesn't have to make sense in order to make money. If you are smart enough to get in before the others, regardless of what will come of it, you've earned the right to line your pockets.

yeh true, all the US exchanges will prob get audited. i've only used it for loading btc/eth purposes. any other exchanges i've used binance for.
My thought process is, assuming I don't cash out thru a US exchange, for deposits i go my bank --> coinbase btc/eth --> send it out to a hard wallet and only use foreign exchanges from there... should be ok? Don't see how they could get me unless I cashed out to a US bank or binance gets audited, but binance is Hong Kong based I believe. cant see my chinese friends giving up any info.
also binance only requires an email and password, no name or verification documents (for exchange purposes). this is probably a huge + too

No idea if that is true because I don't know how to verify it is theirs, but sure looks like it. Maybe he had more shares on the side
edit: actually just ctrl+f the link above in the reddit comments and u'll see more people posting it.

RikD please don't spread such info without researching the topic first, it had already been proven as completely false info but it managed to sink the price from 24c to 14 in a matter of a few hours... guess who benefited the most out of it - some speculator is riding this wave really, really, really hard

I don't know if it's my responsibility to research a post from a reputable poster. I have no real interest in TRON but I knew people on here did so I was just posting a piece of information. Even if it was bogus it is still a piece of information that each individual should research themselves. If some lurkers took it as the gospel and sold potentially costing you money that sucks but I mean what were the probabilities that it was true? It is valuable information either way.

Does anyone know if a Trezor requires the most updated form of Chrome?
My macbook pro is 8 years old... I am at the Chrome I am going to be at. It also fails every time I download the bridge for Mac OS X. I am becoming le tilt.

I feel like TRON is the perfect buy right now if you are going to hold it for a really long time. There were a lot of scandals but the guy has faced all of them instantly and they are starting a few partnerships (directupload and baofeng) plus were basically endorsed by the Chinese government, so eventhough they did a really poor job with their whitepaper the project seems to be quite legit and far from a scam, the only problem is they took Marketing as their number one priority so people that were aiming for fast profits which bought at 15-22c( like me) started selling - the idea is really cool and reminds me of Pied Piper from Sillicon Valley, it's just gonna take quite a lot of time to be developed and put in public thus get raised value for the coin

Can someone recommend some good reads on technical analysis for beginners, - which rate is better to follow currency/USD or currency/btc and everything around that, I basically only understand the basics and mostly invest on knowledge of product, politics around it, faces around it and blah blah all data you could find, but seems like involving technical analysis would be much better - e.g. STRAT is moving in a pretty cool uptrend channel compared to BTC, but compared to USD it doesn't really seem that way

well if your aim is to measure how good you are doing in a bull market currency/BTC should be your default

Because the point of trading alt coins is to outperform just holding BTC

Thanks Daut
@Baal what happens if BTC loses its dominance though? Which is kind of happening atm - always compare alt coins to market dominator?
Also is there a good app to follow your portofolio comapred to BTC? Coinmarketcap one is xx/USD only
