explain why you think the economy should be a straight line

exactly. that's why market cycles happen again and again.

There're cycles in the economy, I agree, bubbles happen and will happen but you - posting a graph suggest that there is some exact pattern that humans follow, which is incorrect, even the short and longterm economic cycles have a huge standard deviation, which is where the magic happens. Basically what I mean is - that graph is good to show to someone completely incompetent as an image of how a market could develop under certain conditions but that is where its usefulness ends

that's a given. and thinking that it does follow an exact pattern would be dumb nor would it be to think that i am trying to imply that it does.

but the similarities are funny, that's the point. we never learn, i guess.

no it was wrong saying that. maybe it's just the way it is? probably because trading is a zero sum game?

thank for posting the graph, now isnt it obvious that it was skewed to fit the pattern more precisely than it does? If I zoom in i can find this pattern dozens of times.

So I assume you sold at 17k+ and that you can call the bottom with huge precision oh you graph guru lol

that pattern repeated and will keep repeating itself at different times and different price ranges. that's the point.

and isn't funny that the market cycle keeps repeating itself?

and the btc/usd chart isn't doctored like what you were saying. it fit right in, more or less, in that market cycle chart. it's all i'm saying dude. and based on that, btc *could* go down more.

and a shit load of patterns repeat themselves on particular crops of the graph.

You said it, more or less to skew sllightly a graph to make it fit certain of the many patterns is ridiculous as I said, if you have confidence in such pattern thenyou should be able to give pretty precise bottom, so what is it? lets see if you are as good predictor of the future as of the past.

My grudge with that/you is the whole "lulz so obvious pattern" bullshit argument, we are in a poker site, you either put your money where your mouth is, (cashing out at top, buying bottom) or just shut up about the obviouis paterns argument

P.S2 read this https://hackernoon.com/how-to-crush-t...atever-you-want-the-rest-27a4a3cc2bb1 - people following crypto probably already have - other articles point out far are people from being late to enter the market, how probably less than 1% of people own crypto and guess how many of them actual use products based on blockchain ( considering most of these projects dont even have a working product yet)

This is one of the most insufferable articles I've ever tried to read.

Hm.. Off-suite socks..

yes none can unless you're warren buffet or someone on the inside. all we can do is follow the price and trade accordingly depending on volatility and the size of your bankroll.

Thats why I didnt say 20k, I said 17k when it was the bull trap and you get the majority of the "pattern" I dont even know why I'm talking about this, its retarded, obviously you can post 100 different patterns in hindsight, whatever go and make some billions in these predictable market patterns my friend.

Think bitstamp would be the best one to use in Europe, but the verification proccess is super slow

P.S. Would be so cool if the retracement ends around now
