Watching the movies this weekend? - Page 2

Hangover 2 sucked, I don't care that the plot was the same as the first one, that's fine, but it wasn't laugh out loud funny for the most part. There were some great parts, but it wasn't consistent enough to keep me interested.

Haven't seen Super 8 still no clue what it's about.

Tree of Life I personally thought tried way too hard to be intellectual and basically failed at making any point whatsoever. Perhaps I just missed it but I doubt it, I felt like the directing was just over-artsy bullshit that was insulting my intelligence.

Guys what did think of Tron Legacy? I think it's brilliant sick awesome music and visuals, it just works together so well

Tron would've been awesome if they showed it 15 years ago. It was always a cult hit with a huge following, fans liked it because it was cool and hi-tech back then, with today's present CGI movies and effects and fans of the movie being quite older, it just didn't provide enough fresh, updated stuff to deliver. Think James Bond movies, it's got nothing to offer since practically everything you'll see in one now wont amaze you. But take a look at Star Trek, they spin it the right way to attract both x and y generation audiences and show up a monster at the box office. As a movie it's ok though.

star trek was amazing but saw super 8 about week and half ago gotta say worst movie ive seen in a long time. i cant believe so many ppl replied here saying it was good. did you guys even watch the movie or did u just google super8 and copy+paste? fucken worst movie ive ever seen its worse than starship troopers 2 (NOTHING IS WORSE THAN STARSHIP TROOPERS 2)

ROFL exactly what i thought, me and my daughters( 12 and 14 clear target audiences of the movie) hated it. I slept through 1/2 and complained the first half
