i feel sorry for your stakers

i also consider Neilly a flat out scammer since we saw what he tried to charge for coaching, and only after LP-members destroyed that for him he came back to this site.

Your dad owns a company... your grandpa owns an airport...you have seem to have major responsibility issues ... like not taking responsibility for well anything... i find it severely hard to believe you have any idea what a little work is lol. but once again gl hopefully you will actually change some day and adjust a few things

wow nolan spun this thread off hard.

sean i have hardly any debts, and you're "fact based" opinions are extremely far off.

if you want to know any truisms, just ask questions, instead of trying to figure shit out that was never meant to be in the blog.

this blog was made so other usa poker players that aren't working etc can get to working and make some money, semi inspirational for others to say the least.

newbsaibot asked me what i did etc, i just explained it.

no reason for you guys to be douchebags about any of it.

@balzaman - lp had nothing to do with me not coaching, my botched stake on PTP a year ago that im still paying back is the reason i don't have it.

lp never ruined anything for me.

sean get ur facts straight or don't chat or ask facts.

ask questions if u want to know something, if not then gtfo and mind ya business.

i fail to see where i failed to state a fact? i didn't mention anything about yoru coaching or anything like that and i almost exactly quoted you in all my posts on your blog.

also, you claim your blog should be an inspiration for american players who are no longer able to play to work through it. i would argue that if you did not make enough money in order to be able to move outside and continue playing poker or invest in some other business now, you were never a relevant poker player in regards to the term "professional" and your advice would not be valuable in a for pay basis, but again i've never bashed you for coaching or attempting to so im not sure what non-facts you're angry about me posting.

seriously, reread your blog over the last four years and explain to me how you're not delusional.

if you're still paying back "botched stakes" you are both broke and in debt (as you are broke by means of being in debt to somebody else). you can call your poker bankroll seperate and somehow not owed to this person in the immediate because you think you need a poker roll in order to earn more money (which is wrong) but regardless, in the real world if you owe someone money but then go out and play MTT's with it this would be considered very negative behavior.

if we were all casual poker players, and you owed me 200 and went and played mtt's with it, i would be furious. just because you call yourself a pro poker player does not make this behavior correct.

lastly, by no means am i neilly bashing. i am simply attempting to show to you that you are delusional and engaging in self destructive behavior. you say this yourself often. i really think it is in your best interest to leave poker and seek help. youve been around here for a long time and i think its the right thing to do and one of the only possible ways for you to get away from the negative impact poker is continuing to have on your life.

if you want me to mind your own business fine, but on the other hand, i can not allow you to attempt to act as a voice of inspiration to the poker community when you are constantly misrepresenting yourself.

100% agree with nolan and i'm not just saying that to ride a high stake pros nuts. To be perfectly honest I struggle with financial issues and being a degen as much as you but I am not delusional about it and have recently started seeking professional help about it. Honestly, you should do the same. I say that man to man, because you need professional help. You've screwed over a couple of close friends of mine with your staking issues and to be honest, if i was not a compassionate person I might just read this and laugh at your pathetic life and tell you to go to hell. Seek help man, you need it.

very suprised you guys think i need to seek help, i don't owe that much money out and have paid back botches stakes which most players never would. i've done pretty well post 4/15 and was doing fine pre 4/15. i did make a lot of mistakes with the money, took me a long time to recognize it. I believe that I always have a place in poker, but I need to take my time and make sure I always have a large running BR.

Maybe I'm addicted and or need help or w/e u say, I love the game and I do not feel inclined to play on the day to day basis. I do not crave action. I took tonite off cuz im fed up of poker mostly. I play to make money 99% nowaday and haven't been degening around in a long time, although i did once this year which was a huge mistake.

You guys go way overboard, and Sean, I respect you, but your talking for people that you don't know or people you don't know my personal relationships with.

Most of the funds that I owe out are to very good friends of mine, skype with some, phone with others, teamviewer learning with others, we are all very tight and nobody has once asked me for it back or called me out on it. They all know that I will undoubtedly pay them back the second I can.

You are right about a lot there, and you did touch on many key facts that I've learned just this recent year, so its very relevant and spot on, and its a good refresher for me to stay ontop of shit.

If poker goes wrong I can always quit, but I'm still gonna swim and work until i can just shark it up full time again

Neilly your post is full of contradictions.

You say you arent addicted but youre planning on moving to Canada ASAP so u can continue to play poker.
Its not up to people you owe money to chase you round and constantly hound you for it, its your responsibility to pay it back promptly. The truth is they probably consider the money as good as gone, but youre taking the liberty to take care of yourself first and use the next $10k you earn to move to Canada instead of paying off those people.

You always seem to base results on one half of the picture. If you win $1m in a year and lose $1.1m by being degen, you havent succeeded in your chosen career.

Neilly you should change your lifestyle and completely give up drugs and alcohol if you wish to be successful. I'm not judging you or anything but I know on more than one occasion it has cost you huge sums of money. I honestly think your life would be much better without them.

NeillyJQ   United States. Aug 27 2011 09:43. Posts 8947

byrn its hard for me to take anything you say seriously since all u do is flame.

ask anyone that knows me, i didn't lose large sums more than 1-2 times. I spent large sums traveling the world etc. I did have some struggles of bustoness a couple times, they didn't last long. (edit)

Anyone I owe $ to isn't hounding or tryin to flip on me. I pay 50% of my MTT winnings to my debts. Thats going to get them all paid faster. And for me to get on my feet again and 100% out of debt, I need a medium such as pokerstars.exe. Other sites just do NOT run enough MTT's to play for a living, even if you mix cake and hero mtts, its pretty bad.

Only answer to make around 10k a month is canada and fix my life in 2 months ez game?

Seems like you don't see thats how its fixed. I grind 100 mtts a day "my job" and payback debts as I go. Its the only possible way for me to do it.

@Xerv, ya i smoke too much, i gotta work on that

Debts are about 20k which really isn't alot, nolans been way off on anything he has said. i have made payments on them when possible in the past and will pay them in full in the future.

i've had plently of time to learn my lessons which i have.

byrn, since 2009, ive won 190k mtting. ive lost 40~50k in online hu / some highstakes cashgames @ LV

thats 75k a year, but last year was more around 100k and 1st year around 50k

i have 3 big debts that are out there, and they will all be paid, i think about them a lot and the only way to pay them is mtting and doing what i do best. go to officialpokerrankings.com search NeillyAA , look month by month. I'm not "defending" my ego or anything like that. Its the truth. I make a fat amount MTTing, these debts are water under the bridge after a solid bink or a couple months of normal run on the grind. I'm partciularly not worried about it.

Thats enuf from me on this thread, acrruing some debt over 2 yrs isn't such a bad thing, i've added vig to all the debts and will have them paid obviously. relllaaaaaaaaaaax, worryabout your own life, i know wut i have to do, and to be 100% frank, when i win 5k i keep 2.5 and send 2.5 out, when i win 10 same and same. Its just how u gotta do it as an MTTer. If you give them every $ u have, u can't continue to get the job done. Obviously need to always have over a 1k core br for the lowest levels of regrinding (just 3.30 180s and $1-$11 mtts)

i understand fully what i need to do, also i did contradict myself last night, but thats for 2 reasons. a. i don't proof what i type, i just type from heart and hit enter. 2. i was stoned and i realized a few of the typos i made last night this morning.

ne ways gl everyone, there was some good advice hidden in there, i'll take it for what its worth and keep working and grinding.

GoodLuck, sean i still look up to u, and u did touch on some key shit, but a lil overboard i must say. byrn u make me pretty pissy -_- its like ur just tryin to start shit out of nothing constantly. ESp cuz this stuff doesn't involve u or ever would.

Zep - i can go months without poker happilly, but i have responsiblities and bills. I play for my future sure, but I also play to get by. Last time I had a very large roll I Kinda blew 13k on the west coast, most in LV, was a huge mistake and haven't really rebounded since then since 4/15 hit right after. I know i've made some mistakes, but was more so out of ignorance and just being in the moment constantly, than out of "bad intentions" or anything like that.

ne ways, gl guys
Ryan

I really feel sad for you Nelly. Your delusional approach to poker is very disturbing. Look at your posts - excuses, promises, excuses again. If you want to do anything in your life good you need to face the truth about your failures and weaknesses and then start working on it really hard - not posting usless shit on forums and argue with everyone how wrong they are, because "you learned your lesson, you`ve grown up" etc shit which is, in fact, not truth. You brag about your winnings from last year or so, but you can not beat nl10. Thats interesting.

lol dude just look at what youre writing

you couldnt rebound after blowing $13k in Vegas
you have $20k in unpaid debt
and you have $40 BR on Hero and are hoping to grind it up to $10k to move to Canada.

and youre gonna tell me you made $75k/year for the last 2 years?

if the latter was true none of the former would be an issue.

NeillyJQ   United States. Aug 27 2011 12:10. Posts 8947

its the truth u can look it up easily byrn. www.officialpokerrankings.com - NeillyAA u may need to make id which takes 2 seconds.

the ptr is there but u can just deduct the profits from mtting there and have core $ made since 99% my play is online.

I've been struggling alot post 4/15, I was extremely fed up and downswinging in life and in poker. The last week I'm finally starting to get my mind together, which is kinda sad, yet good. I'm more than capable to do what needs to be done, which is what I intend on doing. Grind a ton. Play mad hours. 6max til NL50, MTT til I have a super fat BR while paying debts 50/50 with all mtt wins (sometimes more than 50%, depending on br) and getting to canada asap so i can do 100 mtt a day instead of 7.

i think this thread was +ev for me, im happy i made it.
