Jiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiz
loved the first one, direct adaptation 100%, no bullshit deviation from the anime. even the characters look exactly like their anime counterparts. highly recommended if you're not a faggot who dislikes samurai x the anime

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light not our darkness that most frightens us and as we let our own lights shine we unconsciously give other people permision to do the same

I watched Lucy last night and it's one of the worst movies I've seen lately (or ever). Jesus Christ what was on the mind of the screenwriter, it was really really bad (and I didn't even get to see Scarlett's tits )
When people ask: What nationality is this guy raking in all the pots? The answer invariably comes back Poland, Poland. Again and again - Karma
it is terrible terrible writing (not even trying), arguably sort of saved by okish direction
I imagine my old roomate (who studied neuroscience) cringing every time the percentage of Lucy's brain usage was shown lol

it was Luc Besson the director of the movie -_-
division of labor now ftw
new shit has come to light... a-and... shit! man...
Bad movies:
I saw "Equalizer" with Denzel Washington, absolute shit. I regret wasting money on a cinema ticket.
"Lucy" was v.bad as well, some good visual effects though. Terrible ending.
Good movies:
On another note, I loved "The Secret life of Walter Mitty". Started it without any high expectations and it actually turns out to be one of those movies that make you smile and say to yourself "damn, I should do same".
"Prisoners" that Loco mentioned 2 posts ago, really, really good movie. Forces you to debate what would you do in one of those situations yourself.

^^ walter middy is awesome, saw it long time ago, great feel good movie.
Just saw edge of tomorrow, theres a good 720p version out there. Prob one of the best movies ive seen all year. If I had to compare it to Lucy on a 10 scale relative to Edge of tomorrow, edge being 10, Lucy is a 2-3.

Edge of Tomorrow was pretty good despite obvious plot flaws and the impossible ending was disappointing. I learned that there is an alternative ending which is much better, and Hollywood just had to Hollywood and ruin a possibly great movie. I usually don't watch action movies, but this and the latest X-Men are worth a watch.

I think using the shower first would have probably been smart.
