also finally watched the secret life of walter mitty and really enjoyed it. was pleasantly surprised at how much i liked it. much better than i anticipated

This is so damn charming, masterfully executed and simply GOOD for the world. Fuck, I loved watching this movie so much. Check it out

Great acting by Carell and Channing. Dark, true to life movie about Mark Schultz, an Olympic Gold Medalist Wrestler who fought in the UFC only once and fucked Gary Goodridge up then quit.(some say he could've been HW champ)
Two brothers who are Olympians get hired by some weird, old money type, Dupont guy to train for world wrestling competitions and shit gets weird as they go along

I enjoyed it a lot! The OST rocked. Actually I think it's the first time I've checked out an OST in a while, heh. Any other good OSTs worth checking out?

Detachment was good. I don't understand why the critics rated it so low.

I also recently watched Rear WIndow, and Apocalypse Now. 5/5 movies

American Sniper is out on torrents!!! Also the Hobbit part 3 or something, decent copies.

Locke
A Most Wanted Man
The Rover

They were all listed as some of the most underrated movies of 2014.

The Foot Fist Way- Dumb but funny at times in that crude obnoxious way. Catch it if you want to see Danny McBride (Kenny Powers) as a lead in a movie.

The Drop- Well acted and decent crime drama. I liked the lead. Shows a real G versus someone all flash.

Tusk- WTF. As someone above me said it is a twisted but at times darkly funny movie. All in all it is too much but johnny depp is randomly in it and if you wanna see Justin Long get turned into a Walrus go for it.

The Captive- This movie bit off a little more than it could chew but it is one of the more entertaining thrillers i have seen recently. It is like Prisoners but not as good. Ryan Reynolds has come a long way since Van Wilder and puts in a good performance as the father here.

Maze Runner- Bleh. Teen Shit. Straight rip off of divergent which is itself a rip off hunger games which itself is a rip off a bunch of other shit. I wouldn't bother with this one virtually nothing happens in the entire movie and there are going to be 2 more at least. I'll save u from seeing it here is the plot. Kids are in a big maze. Kids escape the maze which was some sort of test and are now off to the next test in the next movie. 0/10

The Gambler- One of Mark Wahlberg's better movies that I found entertaining. The original 1974 The Gambler is a superior movie though. The hit on 18 makes much more sense. The original deals much more deeply with gambling itself and degeneracy.

detachment - depressing but genuine and very good
guardians of the galaxy - one of the best movies ive ever seen

Not a movie, but a new TV show I just discovered: Rick and Morty, It's an adult cartoon, 20 min episodes 11 episodes season one, no s02 yet. It's the nuts, prob the funniest show i've seen seen Chapelle show. From what I hear the commercial for it is not very good, but the episodes are v short so just watch 2 or three, you will not be dissapointed.

i probably didn't give it a good enough shot but I thought Locke was just horrific. If you can keep watching without getting distracted when the main character is in a car, on the phone the entire fucking movie, then props. Would def not recommend

you can watch all the episodes on Adult Swim website. I think the show is hilarious and sometimes the laughs and jokes come from the Void.

I loved locke. It's definitely a one of a kind movie, and i think it'll be worth your time just to see it because of how unique it is. I haven't seen the other 2 but I've heard some good things about Rover.

Lastly Birdman is a movie that makes me excited for movies. What a masterpiece.
