The Expendables had 7.6 at the time I went to the cinema to see it, and I rated this pathetic piece of junk 2/10.

Didn't expect much of it but it was a realy good movie.

Went to see it because a friend really, REALLY wanted to go... I was expecting the worst but it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be...

It wasn't the best movie of the year or whatever but I think you're exaggerating quite a bit in your blogpost... I'd rate it like 6/10 or something like that...

expendibles wasn't delusional what movie it wanted to be...just a mindless action flick.

i'm expecting the exact same thing for this movie... and gonna fucking love the testosterone overload this movie will provide.

expendables was 11 out of 10 imo. only thing wring with the movie was there wasn't enough time to fit all the action possible by that cast in it

the word critical shouldn't have a negative connotation to it, but it does :/..... probably because most criticism people hear is negative.

Just watched it, and compared to the past two Mission Impossible movies, it is crap and a waste of time if you're expecting the same or better movie. Sorry just my opinion

If you're just bored, not expecting anything or just want to take a girl out for a movie date, it's watchable - but just that, watchable.

Not worse than Eyes Wide Shut! The idiot who worked on the dialogues should be put in prison. They go like this throughout the whole movie, every single dialogue: "Hey....pause 5 seconds, Hey....5secs pause, I....10 second pause and a few strange gimmicks, you see.... 5seconds, I am looking for a... 7 seconds and they show every character's face for more drama, ...a coat." This is the movie that I waited for the longest to become interesting and it didn't happen at all. The blond bitch, famous bitch, plays awful. Tom Cruise is not much better. It is supposed to be one of the masterpiece of Kubrick because he shows how the Elite rulers meet and fuck. But it is plain boring and stupid. I couldn't sleep of anger at watching the whole movie and it's supposed to have been cut from 3-4 hours to only 2 and a half. You don't know what's a fucking stupid movie until you see Eyes Wide Shut. They might be afraid to open again after watching that crap!

Looking forward to MI. Nobody expected the expendables to be anything more than 2 hours of mindless action; it's not like they were pushing for any academy awards, I mean come on.

seriously thumbzorz. u will be disappoint with this, i kept my expectation levels very low, but even the stunts and fight scenes were zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.
Mission impossible 2 was the best one imo Damn this movie even killed whatever kind of funny Simon Pegg had in him.

it also breathed life and updated an old tv series which has already long been dead.

it only made more money than 3 cuz tom cruise went all ape shit on oprah and the whole scientiology crap

2 was made by john woo who(remember face-off?) was the shit back then in hollywood, yeah it was better during the time. MI3 was more serious, probably better story, emo bs and had better actors but really didn't have the wow factor that 2 brought to the series. the whole scientology/Oprah/Tomcat crap happened before 3 (around 2007) and after 2(which was 2000) if you even bother to check your facts correctly.

the action scenes were for sure nice in mi2. but i liked the brian de palma one better.

yes.........it happened before 3 and after 2 hence the lower box office for 3
