very good article, I've been experimenting with this too after realizing that aggression factor probably has little correlation with amount won.

I've noticed some of the regulars at 200nl like Fgators have really toned down their continuation betting. Fgators doesn't continuation bet small pocket pairs nor missed overcards much anymore.

Here's a hand in the same vein as myth's article. Once I checked he instantly bet on both the turn and river...what is he representing?

Nice article.

Btw I believe u dont really need to play some sort of super-aggressive style to fully exploit this type of players (frustrated monkeys). In fact, I actually dont think that TalentedTom plays some sort of super aggro style against them. (Just guessing, I dont quite know Toms style.) You can play overally very TAGy and still be able to exploit these players at its best.
The trick is really in making them frustrated and force them into thinking that they are being outplayed (i mean, outtricked) by u, which almost every player hates, but these monkeys hate it so much because they like to outtrick people themselves alot and so they make retarded moves against u. So, all u need is to watch closely whats going on at the table and pick some good spots to raise/reraise them (standard blind vs button reraise, or button vs co reraise, some flop c/raises, etc.), but always pick spots, where it is cheap (pf, flop). If u time it well u will be surprised what retarded moves they will make soon. You just need to be fearless with ur value hands and punish them.

there is a light at the end of the tunnel... (but sometimes the tunnel is long and deep as hell)

:-P good article, extracting the max from over aggro monkeys is an art, I could probably write a whole book about it.

PS: how can almost never bluffing over aggro monkeys be right? it makes no logical sense to me.

great stuff Myth thanks heaps for your work on this. TY everyone else that helped.

Great article - i want to play loose aggressive (small bets - small hands, big bets - big hands) but i always find myself getting into big pots with marginal hands and i always think ppl are playing back at me and have no idea what to do sometimes with hands like TPTK when they do.

Thanks again

myth, you're not supposed to educate the fishes so well. goddamn you

excellent article. Although you should note that most players up to the NL200 level can be easily exploited without having to put in that level of thinking.

But a great introduction to the LAG style so many people hear about and how to implement it effectively. I wish i could word my thoughts out as well as you or some of the others.

props sir.

Roman got a point here. I dont understand the logic behind "dont bluff bluffers" since these people are those who have nothing most of the time

but good article, makes me think some stuff
